I'm working on making a hill-climb offroad course that is a obstacle type course with a single track that encompasses the entire map one long single loop. Each section of the track is going to more and more difficult as you go. Keep in mind this is very very WIP as I'm not really sure as to what I'm doing. Also because I have a very shitty laptop this is not going to be very FPS demanding (as in little to no trees or other flora). Also by following Funador's tutorial I could not get the "autopaint" to work so I'm having to paint textures by hand (so please don't yell at me for shitty looking ground) I'm doing the very best I can with the little knowledge that I have to do this)

In this proposed terrain there will be several levels each getting harder and harder to complete. I have made several "save points" that make it so you can pull off the track and save your location. Trust me it is very annoying to tip over and have to start the whole thing over again.

    Check List:

Figure the spawning issue I'm having (still drop from about two hundred feet and plummet)

    Finish entire track

Paint textures so it doesn't look like a giant sand dune.

    Details

This track is meant to be used with a rock crawler or any vehicle like that. Please be gentle with comments I'm still very new to this. Any help or suggestions will be very appreciated.

You can see how I'am painting the textures by hand. I apologize in advanced if they look terrible.

Will post progress in the future.

This is looking great, I like the snowy mountains and the spawn save check points. :D

Also as far as the "drop from about two hundred feet and plummet" your spawn sphere is probable in the sky instead of near the ground. If you open the Scene Tree, go to Player Drop Point, and click Spawn Sphere you can move it around to were you want. ( just don't rotate the spawn sphere, it seems to mess things up)

Looking forward to this map :)

Ok so I've tried and tried this, but to no avail at all I still plummet. Ive also tried deleting the spawn sphere and making a new one but still have the same problem. Am I doing something wrong?

...mmm thats strange, if you spawn sphere is close to the ground than you shouldn't plummet to the ground. The only other thing I can think of is maybe the spawn sphere is to close to the ground and needs to be lifted up a little. If the car spwns under the terrain in will be shot up towards the sky.
