As in the title. In Puławy, Poland, they're used BMWs of all kinds, from the 2002 to the E93, as well as used A-nomenclature Audis (plus their S/RS counterparts), from A4 B5 to S8 D2. Also a few 2nd gen Subaru Impreza WRXes and 5th gen Mustangs. And in your area?
Wasilla, Alaska, with occasional trips into Anchorage. The expected pickup trucks and mix of 1960s, 1970s, and 1990s muscle cars. Subaru Impreza with a few Lancer Evos on the side. The Euro scene is held down by a mix of VWs and Audis, with VWs leaning more towards stance, and Audis more towards performance.
Most of people here tend to get something Malaysian, such as the Proton Satria GTi (mostly riced), Proton Putra (mostly riced), Perodua Myvi (mostly riced), etc. Richer people tend to get Japanese or German sports cars, such as the GT86 (mostly riced) and Porsche 911 (mostly riced).
I live in a place where people don't really have a lot of money. So just don't judge BMW 320i and 320d, mostly E46, with a few E36 rustbuckets. Suzuki Swift, because it's dirt cheap and you can hoon it all day and it just doesn't die. Golf MK3 and MK4, mostly diesels with a chip. People don't have the money to buy a VR6 or a GTI here.
That's where the Swift is made I mean, I'm not judging, that's how it looked in Poland before the economy got up and going.
Going past peak car and realizing only immigrants care about cars probably sucks. --- Post updated --- I don't think a redneck can afford an 80s sports car, maybe save for a Fiero, a Camaro, a Mustang or a Conquest/Starion.
South of Poland: many kids that call themselves gearheads and drive rusted out E36 BMWs and VW golfs. As it comes to true gearheads... There is an ocassional mustang or nicely tuned renault clio/megane. I don't consider those BMW and VW kids in poland "gearheads" as the only thing they can tell you about cars is how sideways their BMW goes...
a few classic lifted trucks, bunch of nice 60's/70's muscle cars and a few projects as well one of my neighbors likes the 80's GM squarebody k series trucks and my other neighbor likes mustangs, he even has a real '67 Shelby fastback
Economy We don't have that over here. Jokes aside I only wish modifying cars was legal. I mean it is sorta legal at the moment, but you have to send a bunch of expensive paperwork to the authorities and hope they approve. 90% of the time they don't like what you want to do and they just say "Well that changes the way your vehicle would behave in an accident, so we can only approve it if you perform a crash test". So it's kinda illegal to modify stuff. People still do it.
