please don't laugh at my choice of keeping the car stock in game, but to be completely honest it would be nice to have the car, if I am correct a teacher in a old british film was driving a Datsun as well, maybe even the Cherry, if someone made it and made it good then it might even fit in with the other 1970's cars in the game pretty well.

I'd like to see an estate version of the Hakosuka if it does get picked up by other modders besides @Bakasan
(It's one of the only images of it.)

Yes, it was quite practical and cheap to run car. Interior was quite basic, but I did like that interior design better than most modern designs.

Hey, I did own one of those cars IRL and that was 80's when I was working in Finland, so I don't need to play MSC, I have enough horrible memories from that time.

    RC RCF (1964-1972 (pre-facelift), 1972-1978 (post-facelift)):

    It is a...
...60s/70s British sporty 2+2 fastback. Mostly based on the MG MGB GT, with some Toyota 2000GT influences in the rear and Datsun Z-Car influences up front. Unibody, FR, front MacPhersons, rear coil sprung solid axle, front disc, rear drum brakes. Kinda oversteery handling. Exists in a pre-facelift and post-facelift version.

    Configs:
    • 1.8 (pre- and post-facelift): Equipped with a 90 HP 1.8 I4, a 4-speed manual, an open diff, standard suspension, premium brake pads and 14x5 wire wheels (pre-facelift) or alloys (post-facelift) with 5.70x14 bias-ply tires (pre-facelift) or 165/70 R14 radial tires (post-facelift),
    • 1.8 Automatic (pre- and post-facelift): As above, but with a 3-speed automatic,
    • 3.0 (pre-facelift): Like the 1.8, but with a 150 HP 3.0 I6, HD suspension, sport brake pads and 15x5.5 wire wheels with 175/70 R15 radial tires.
    • 3.0 Automatic (pre-facelift) - As above, but with a 3-speed automatic.
    • 3.6 (post-facelift): Like the 3.0, but with a 190 HP 3.6 V8, an LSD and 15x6 alloys with 185/65 R15 radial tires.
    • 3.6 Automatic (post-facelift): As above, but with a 3-speed automatic.
    • Banger - Based on the post-facelift 1.8, but with a stripped exterior and interior, welded doors, hood and trunklid, a banger H-frame, floorplate and number fin, a banger paintjob and 14x5 steelies with worn 165/70 R15 radial tires,
    • Race - Tarmac (pre- and post-facelift) - Equipped with a 170 HP 2.0 racing I4, a 5-speed racing manual, a sport LSD, race suspension and brake pads, 15x6 alloys with 195/60 R15 slicks, a stripped interior with a rollcage, a racing paintjob, no bumpers, a rear lip spoiler and a front splitter.
    • Rally - Gravel (pre- and post-facelift): As above, but with a rally manual, rally suspension and tires, a rally paintjob, spotlights and a skidplate.
    • Off-Road (pre- and post-facelift): As above, but with off-road suspension and tires, an off-road paintjob, bullbars and a roof rack with offroad expedition stuff.
    • Stock Car (pre- and post-facelift) - Like the Race, but with a 290 HP 4.2 racing V8, a racing LSD, race brakes with full-race pads, 16x8 rims with 235/50 R16 slicks, a widebody kit and a stock car paintjob.
    • Restomod (pre-facelift) - Equipped with a 240 HP 1.3 birotor, a 6-speed manual, an LSD, modern hot hatch suspension and brake components and 16x8 muscle rims with 235/55 R16 tires.
    • Demon - Equipped with a 502 HP stage 2 biturbo 1.3 birotor, 150-shot nitrous, a 6-speed race manual, a race LSD, race suspension and brakes, 18x10 rims with 285/35 R18 race tires, a stripped exterior and interior, a rollcage, a widebody kit and a rat rod-style paintjob.
    • Drag (pre- and post-facelift) - Equipped with a 955 HP stage 3 biturbo 1.3 birotor, 100-shot nitrous, a 4-speed drag automatic, a race LSD, drag suspension and brakes, 15x12 (rear) and 15x4 (front) rims with drag radials, a stripped interior, a rollcage, a rear lip spoiler and a drag paintjob.
    Why do we need it?

Because it would be a good "fun-sized" European Barstow alternative.

The seats in it look more comfortable than the 2011 Vauxhall Insignia, after about 35 miles it starts to feel like sitting on a rock, I mean which looks better to sit in? Funny how a 1970's car wants me to sit in it more than a car made just over half a decade ago, this is coming out someone who sits in either the back or passenger seat though, so no idea what it is like for long term driving, bit random for the Vaux to be mentioned but it is what I will be spending the following Tuesday in, other than that, the interior of the Datsun 100a looks quite good for a car made in the 70's.

I'm 186 cm tall (6'2"), so the Vauxhall looks better.
