Levin Coupe is on its way Hopefully I can manage to share parts so that you'll be able to configurate the Levin Hatchback and the Trueno Coupe.
What is that hiding under the hood? Twin turbo V10 with top mounted intercoolers? Hood scoop included
Starting to clean up the front of the van now. Some better front doors (ignore the glass for now, I need to fix it).
Hey, lucky page number. Anyway, going back on topic, Heres the sandstorm xsb so far. I am going to make it awd sadly because..... I hate rwd offroaders. They are a pain to drive. This will be part of the pack I am making for months.
I can help you with the ticking. And your idle sounds like a 5 year old holding a jelly jar and swinging it around with a butter knife in it. I can get your an idle sound that is much better from my 5.4 Trition. --- Post updated --- Burnside Sanibel. This is a redesigned, or basically facelifted version of the Grand Marshal. Its cosmetic attributes are similar to that of the 1991-1996 Buick Roadmaster.
Skin support, very happy with the results The K-4 number will be changed to provide some separation from the Grand Marshall edition as well.
Thank you for your feedback. I didn't include the idle sound that came with the sound sample when I recorded the video. Here's how it supposed to sound now: What do you think? Sure, hit me up with that 5.4L Triton idle sound, it might come in handy! That Sanibel looks good, any interior differences?
That sounds okay, but I think it may be better suited for the Moonhawk instead of the Barstow. Try it on the Moonhawk and post a video of how it sounds
On the Moonhawk. I'm using this "Windsor V8" sound samples on my own 350 & 391 CUI Engines A "GTO V8" sound samples for my own 427 CUI Engine And lastly "LS7 V8" sound samples for the 454 CUI Engine Driving properly using Xbox controller is hard... Oh how I wish I have a steering wheel.
LS7 has bit more of euro sound, not quite so gas guzzler fuel spitting V8 sound: It is also only 427cid, so LS7 might be tad misleading there? I think sound is very fitting for 454cid though! Purely for reference material purposes (you can see rpm here too) if you wish to create LS7 sound like this (I could use such, maybe someone else too?):
The sounds I'm playing with came from Forza Motorsport 4. I've been using their intake sounds as the off throttle sound, and exhaust sounds as the on throttle sound. I found it interesting that FM4 uses 3 sets of sound samples for a car; exhaust, intake, and enginebay. For example, FM4's Saleen S5 2010 uses LS7 exhaust sound, GT500 intake sound, and Panoz GTLM enginebay sound which then the game has a specific instruction of pitch, volume, and so on to blend those files. I don't really know whether their "LS7", "GT500", "Panoz" sound is really taken from that exact vehicle but I can only assume. But what I do know is that exact LS7 ehaust sound is used on FM4's Corvette 1996 and TransAm 1987. My "GTO V8" on the 427 CUI uses "LS7" idle, "GTO intake and exhaust for the rest. While the "LS7" on the 454 CUI uses "LS7" idle, GTO intake, and LS7 exhaust. It's mixed bag of sounds. I think I might have sound samples that sounds similar. I'll look at it. It will not make it to the repo as I took them from FM4, but I might upload it to the forums on Mods & Skins subforum. I need feedback from fellow member if the sound is good enough for release then I will do it (that's why I showcase it here; I have not received much feedback).
