Any chance someone could take this mod from the 3rd party site, and make it not a potato on wheels? The 3d modeling looks pretty much done, idk if it would be easy to make it like every other working mod, make it not reliant on the D-Series frame, or even make it a body customization for the D-Series. It's my favorite body style and it is just crappily thrown together because 3rd party site.
There's a pretty close one here: https://www.beamng.com/threads/1994-jeep-grand-cherokee-remake-0-5.37171/ It's not the same and it shows its age (the original was from 2013), but it's probably the closest you'll be able to get. Most of the modders here are pretty busy and don't like to work with 3rd party site mods because of how broken they are. alex_333's modding group might have a slightly better version of the one you're looking for, but I don't think it will be as well done as you'd like.
I remember this mod... If I remember correctly, it was literally "slap a mesh on a D series move a few nodes and call it good" quality, if that. After having made a Russian mod improvement myself, and in turn made it into an entirely new mod that you can download on the repo, I can tell you that looks are deceiving. There is still a lot of work you have to do aside from making it work in order to make it a good mod.
Darn. Oh well then. I think i'll figure something out, tbh i just want the wheels to be modifiable and the color changable tbh. I think i'll figure something out that would help me. Thank you.
I'll try give it a little touch up even though I don't have a computer that can run or even has beamNG but I'll see what i can do. (it will probably end really badly) --- Post updated --- 1 problem I have edited it but it won't let me compress it into a zip file maybe I'll try it on my mac instead just be patient.

I've tried to compress the folder into a zip but it isn't working and i couldn't find out how to make the wheels changeable or the colour changeable either. If you want to try edit it your self then try to learn from the wiki thats how i learn most of my stuff about beamNG. sorry

Hmm...not a rocket scientist, but the mod is pretty old, and is kinda sorta the reason he's asking for it to be remade...
