What is the point that devs even make new cars anymore?

    You are completely wrong. Some cars *cough hopper* werent even planned to be in the game and were created.

    After studying that topic for a couple of years, it is really hard for me to not respond to this, but Internet forum + philosophy = mess... Must resist. This is so off topic...

    On topic... What is a game without new content?

    Tell me a game where this has happened? There is no such game, why BeamNG would be different?

    Normal released video game? (Yes, BeamNG is not yet released as a ready game)

    But really, you people really think devs are creating "free" new cars forever? Or even many years from now on?

    Creating cars takes time and costs money. Of course there is possibility for paid DLC, but I don't know how it would work for BeamNG.

    Also we don't know what amount of cars devs are aiming for, and when is planned release of ready game. I hope I'm wrong and we will get many many more new cars in future but I doubt.

    I guess, from this point, we will have less new cars than we have cars already.

    In my opinion,
    (modding) people are wasting their time on those new "Configs" such as: Turbos, V8s, Drags, and all those mechanical stuff, 7/10 mods are those things. To me they are just useless...


    I'm aware that the basic reason the game was made, was to test the incredibly realistic physics, but • come on now, admit it the real reason that YouTubers, the real reason that YOU play BeamNG, is to destroy cars...


    Turbos, V8s and Drags seem completely useless to me, since they are faster versions of the already existing cars (E.G. The Barstow, the Moonhawk, or the Burnside) and we already know how they crash and perform.

    Shouldn't they make at least ONE NEW car?




    Oh and BTW, I will create a mod sometime in the near future.. But I will need someone to help me. I tried to make a mod with the Beamng's "Mod Creating Instructions" and I ended up with thin air... It's a bit useless too...

    I think I'm deluding myself, because I'd say I play BeamNG to have different varieties of gearhead fun, from blasting my SBR4 S3 config towards the horizon on a highway while playing the Baker Street sax solo, to driving a farm beater Caprice through Utah desert.
    They've made more. Satsuma 210, Bitron B2, Charmand B-Series, '92 Covet, Prasu, Caldera, Coucal, GM metric fullsizes, FR16 and 17, late model NASCAR, Bluebird buses - front- and rear-engined, Euro truck, Ibishu Dove... 17 cars at least, plus 3 planes (stunt plane, Junkers, B-25).

    Okay... So You are one of those people who just crash the car and that's all... Then sure you will be dissapointed by all of the engine mods, but remember that You aren't the only person who plays this game, for many people (mostly wheel users) this game is an excelent driving game, for those people all of those engine mods and config mods are created.
    When it comes to youtube, I really like the HighVoltsEntertainment's method of making videos... he isn't just crashing everywhere and he is making some sort of a role play series from BeamNg.
    Another thing is that making vehicle mods is really complicated. Even the dumb V10 Modpack has taken me about 50 hours to develop, and I've made it only for 2 vehicles so far.
    Just look how much time does it take to model a proper turbo setup and exhaust manifolds and so on. Not even talking about making custom Uv's and HUNDREDS of hours that can be spent on making a perfect materials for a vehicle, Not een talking about Jbeam which I'll start learning during the next week.
    So stop complaining about mods until you can make better ones...
    I've done this mistake by criticizing @SergentFido 's mod which I really felt bad about once I've started creating mods myself, and I saw how time consuming it is.




    So to all thos dumb retards complaining about devs making the vehicles that they don't want or complaining about modders making mods different than new vehicles, go and try to make them yourself and untill you will beat dev's quality... Just shut up! And if you will have problems with being quiet and not complaining, then open an old semi truck's hood, rev up the engine and put your face in the engine fan, and if it doesn't work, just run over your head with a tank.

    Yeah, I'm just ignoring your post, because for one time (not you. In general) Read The First Sentence That Says: "IN MY OPINION"
