So, I want to make a car, using this: https://free3d.com/3d-model/bmw-535-68406.html , I have no clue where to begin adding this to beamng drive, can some provide a video on how to make a mod on beamng drive or something, (Please no wikis or things that involve reading, I don't do well with reading..)

Well, i would not start off like that, 3D Modeling a car then importing it into BeamNG Is very complicated, I've failed a countless amount of times trying to do your same thing (not trying to discourage you.)

    I'd start off making configs.

    Ok, here you go:

Like for example, Let's say you want to make your own drag version of the.. Burnside special! Just go into your vehicle customization, Make the car like you want it, and then go to "Save & Load" and name the file like "epic_drag". Then create a new folder. Name it whatever (I'd recommend naming it the car name, like epicdrag) Then go inside of your Documents, Then BeamNG.drive, Then "vehicles" and you will see burnside (or whatever vehicles you choose to mod) open that, and you will see the epicdrag PC File in there. Drag it to your desktop, not the folder yet! Then go inside the empty folder you made, and put ANOTHER Folder inside that one and name it "vehicles" then open that folder you just made, then make another folder, name it "burnside" (what whatever vehicle your modding) then drag the PC File inside there. Your not done however, you need info of the vehicle, and a picture! To make the info, open your BeamNG Folder (Program Files x86/steam/steamapps/common/BeamNG.drive/content/vehicles/burnside) and then find a file called "info_drag" inside that folder, right click it, then hit copy. then go back inside your epicdrag folder, and paste the info_drag inside there. Rename the "info_drag" to "info_epicdrag" and then open that JSON File. If you cannot open it, select Notepad. Then open it, and edit from there. (such as Name, performance, etc.). Then you need a picture. Pictures are not hard. Just take a picture of it in BeamNG, (I'd try to make it good) and use the screenshot feature in BeamNG To take a picture of the car, or if you prefer to use your own screenshot program, then use that. Once you have the picture, (let's say you took it inside the BeamNG.drive screenshot tool) then go into Documents/BeamNG.drive/screenshots/ and drag your screenshot of the car into there. Rename the picture to "epicdrag" EXACTLY Like the .PC File. Then you should be done. Then you will have to ZIP The folder, by doing that, right-click the folder, find "Send To" then "Compressed (ZIP) Folder" and then it will ZIP The file. Once there, open the ZIP File, and there should be a second file named the same thing, open it, then you will see a folder named "vehicles". Drag that out of your folder, to your desktop, then go back to where you opened the ZIP Folder, and right-click, hit delete, and then drag "vehicles" into that ZIP Folder. Boom, Your DONE! If you want to publish, Go right ahead!

I am planning on making a video, i don't know when though..

I might wait till you make a video, like I said I'm not the best when it comes to reading. I get lost/confused while I'm reading something then doing something, but I will try reading this through and see if I can do something.

Yeah I found out that I'm only going to learn how to do configs for cars. importing cars for personal use is too hard.

You could also start by doing some small performance\new engines mods. The best way to learn stuff is vreak stuff that you want to learn about, so don't be worried to play around with values in .jbeam files. And if you break something and you won't be able to fix it, just delete the zip i which you've modified something and do an integrity check.

Other than the last bit (for me anyway) that is an incredibly helpful tutorial. Thanks.
