Released American 80's Fullsize Series 2.1

Mods thingy? Please elaborate.

The main mod can be downloaded manually (orange download button)or subscribed to at the top of the page. It's called oldsfullsize_codename.zip

The addon thing that adds the caprice and a lot of other copyrighted content is called codename_american_fullsize_series.zip
It's downloaded at the bottom of the first post.

Ooooh. Ok.

Go to "this pc" (it's named differently if your pc language is not set to English) and then click on documents (it's named differently if your pc language is not set to English) and then click on beamng.drive folder and then click on the mods folder.

So, I downloaded this in-game, and I hecking love it, however, I only have one car, the standard model, and if I try to modify it in any way the rear wheels disappear, and the module to mod them is missing entirely. Do I HAVE to download the pack from here, or.....?

Edit: lol nevermind I'm an idiot it says right there I need to download it doing that now!

Edit #2: I love this addon I may never be able to have this car in real life, but I can have it in this game! This is gonna be my default for ages!

I drawn it during my absent here. With the Caprice being one of my favorite cars, I just love your mod. Thank you for recreating the crappy American sedan we all love in BeamNG

I like those sedan as well, the only difference is that i don't find them crappy but cool Driving them is comparable to nothing else, the floaty behaviour is part of the fun.

 

I guess i found it, so do i put in the repo folder or just place it in the mods folder?

 

Just the normal mods folder should do. The repo folder is where the game puts the mods you download in game.

Hello, @SergentFido I have problems installing your mod, it's the first time this happens to me, I never had problems in the past. I've tried every possible way and nothing happens. Even erased the previous files. Help me

 

unfortunatly i can't do more than what is written in the first post. Try to download the two parts again. You need to erase both addon and codename.

 

Ok sergentfido, I need you to detail me where each pack is installed, I am able to err on that. If it would be so kind. I never had to resort to asking this because it is simple, but this time I do not know what happens. Thank you.

 

this wont work for me instead of showing up how it's suppose to it just shows "latemodel"

I think this has probably been reported before but the Oldsmobile Regency 98 Pace Car config should say 'Official Pace Car' not 'Unofficial Pace Car.' I hope this problem gets addressed. Thank you.

If you read the specific models description it says it's "a replica of what the BeamNG real equivalent would be."

 

ha ha, it's funny to see this issue coming back from time to time. The original car was a 1977 Regency coupe, i used the same graphics for a Regency Sedan for the year 1980. In this year the pace car was a Pontiac Trans am.
This is just nonsense guys, some people notice the humor i try to inflate in my productions, and some don't. The description says "almost perfect replica of the 1977 regency coupe".
I like the 77 design and wanted to reproduce it, that's all. Creating and having fun, this is all that counts to me.
Anyway it's fun to see the "UNofficial" being reported when obviously it was added in purpose.
