I like how they kept saying the production version was going to look much better than the concept.... Not only it doesn't, but it looks significantly worse. Considering the concept already looked but-ugly and overstyled, that's quite an accomplishment by its own right. The black overfenders are incredibly stupid (what's the point of glossy plastic around the arches? They also fail to protect bodywork where it's needed, all while looking terribly gaudy)... Other than that, the profile looks like a squashed Skoda Karoq, and that's not a compliment. That said, it will sell like hot cakes without doubt, and no one will really care about the platform shared with half a dozen similar vehicles in the VAG group.
Are there other 2 door sti's? I just found one for 12 grand qnd it looks like a 22b but it cant be for that money it is a right hand drive one btw
Exactly. Half of Lamborghini's customers only buy them for the badge and to show off, they couldn't care less that it shares a platform with the other Volkswagen group cars. It's like the Escalade: overpriced and made to appeal to those who want to show off. --- Post updated --- Subaru, as far as I'm aware, only made two door versions of the Impreza for the first generation. I don't know how many of those were STI's, but they made more coupes than just the 22B.
If the Ursus sells enough to fund more normal lambos I'm good with it. I haven't loved their styling since the revington but I've got to say the new Huracan with full aero pack looks very nice.
HSV Colorado to be unveiled on Friday Well, they're going to run out of Commodore shells eventually. So I guess they're following the advice of Bear Grylls
I seriously hope HSV has found a way to stuff a V8 in the Colorado. I'll be able to easily import one.
RE: Lamborghini Urus. I just hate SUVs that can't go crashing around in the woods, period. I would say that I would have much rather had the Estoque sedan, but now that I look it up, that was kind of ugly too.
Do the new Colorado's not get any form of LS? the older ones did. During all the advertising for them everything focused on the fact that they were going to start offering a diesel option, and I guess no one asked if you could still get a 5.3.
Family car update (not that anyone cares)... We now own a 22k mi 2008 Corvette Convertible with the 3lt package. It's a 6spd manual, can't wait to learn how to drive it in the summer. Got it the week I was home for thanksgiving. And my dad no longer has his 18' Traverse. It's a solid vehicle and will be surprised if GM doesn't sell a crap-load of them. He now has a 17 or 18 Canyon SLT with the v6 (of which I'm very jealous of him).
