I’m pretty sure my laptop doesn’t even have a graphics card. Or if it does, it’s a super crappy and cheap one.

Now, please, if I’m wrong, don’t come yelling at me

I really don’t know much about computers, except that it’s expensive to build one that actually runs BeamNG.

That’s why I only have the techdemo

Your computer probably has intergrated graphics where the CPU deals with the GPU processes. I think there are some motherboards that have graphics chips built onto them aswell.

Also, depending on what you consider expensive, it's actually not that expensive to build, or even buy a computer that can run Beam. Nowadays, you can probably build a PC that can run BeamNG well, as well as run most, if not all newer games fairly well for about £400-500. I spend about £600 3 years ago, and it runs BeamNG mostly fine. Now that GPU's like the 1060 exist, you can make a much more powerful computer for much cheaper than that

Eh, that’s fairly expensive to me. But, now I know more about my computer.

now: msi 1050ti @ ~30 degrees celsius idle
before: msi 750ti @ 26 degrees celsius idle
before 2: xfx gt630 1gb @ 110 degrees celsius, the thermal paste on that thing probably became dust

I like my new EVGA GeForce 740 GDDR5 4GB Superclocked.
Runs BeamNG at 30fps on most maps at 1440x900 on low settings, but it's way better than Intel HD graphics.
Also GTA 5 runs 30fps on medium settings in windowed mode, at 1366x768.
    16 GB DDR3
    Intel Core i7 3770

Currently an RX470 8gb OC, upgrading again soon though. Most likely the equivalent RX580.

4 GB R9 380, or as some prefer to call it, a space heater*. More or less a direct competitor of the 960.

*This name came from older AMD processors and some Radeon GPUs running rather hot
