The normal maps where already there, you must have remapped the bed to a different texture or something..
As per suggestion, I've switched to the 200BX as a base. T'was a very good decision. Here is a jbeam update. While the headlights are not started yet (and I honestly don't know how/if they'll even work), the rest of the jbeams are taking shape. Literally. There may be hope after all.
But the C4 has popups that operate differently to the 200bx (they do some sort of back flip manuvre) not that you can't modify the code for them to pop up as they are suppose to. Fun fact: SpiersTheAmazingHD used to own a C4 Corvette
Issue is, I don't know if hydros (or whatever the 200bx's headlight use) can pull off that backflip maneuver. Plus, the 200bx's headlights are anchored to the body, whereas the corvette's are build into the hood, which is really flimsy and node-barren. So I dunno how they can both work.
That looks nice. Where'd you get the model from? My bad if its already been answered, I was out for a month and just briefly checked the forums for new stuff. Also, I would advise the Bolide over the 200BX for the fact that the frame in the Bolide is quite similar to the C4 vette frame to a decent extent. You will need to regardless, ditch either's rear suspension. Its totally inaccurate for a factory spec C4. Corvettes from the mid C2 model years onward have a really weird independent rear suspension. Detroit has this strange love affair with the Leaf spring, and somehow it managed to work its way into an Independent suspension design. The Corvette I believe still uses it today, and it was certainly using it in the 80s and 90s. Take a deep breath, take your time, and do the work right. I am sure people will be willing to help you if you get stuck if you have something already. Good luck, BeamNG needs more sports cars I think, and I have been desperately itching to drive a corvette that isn't russian in BeamNG.
Unfortunately, that very likely never got completed. It's been 4 years, 3 months, and 7 days since that was posted, to be exact, and in that time, I doubt that much progress (if any) was done to it. In fact, the creator hasn't been on since April 1, 2017, which means that he likely abandoned BeamNG modding.
