Nah, rear end is shorter on the Fairlane & the body lines are wrong. Fairlane has a downward curve on the door, this mystery car has a downward curve after the door under the rear quarter window.
I was thinking that, but I can't find any of them with the trim that we see on the wrecked car. It's a really unique looking trim
Nah, Packard's have more rounded rear panels that bulge out, our mystery car here is pretty smooth and doesn't bulge out --- Post updated --- Doesn't have the same fins, it seems like we're getting closer though
It does actually have a similar shape around the tail light area to the Fairlane, but the rest of it is wrong. That might mean that it has circular tail lights like the Fairlane though. Edit: Nevermind. Count on @Peterbilt to know exactly what it is.
It's a 57 Custom 300, I guarantee it. For a forum mostly about cars, there sure isn't alot of car knowledge. I'll even find a picture.
Yeah you definitely got it. The fins above the tail lights look slightly different, but it's sitting on a hill with the roof caved in and a lot of bodywork missing so I'm guessing that's just damage. And yeah my old car knowledge is extremely lacking, that's why I came here. Those don't look the same at all.
That is what's left of a 1957 Ford. Edit-Remember to refresh the page before you post. You don't want to end up like me.
No it's definitely a 1957 Ford 300. Has the same circle tail lights, long but low fins starting from underneath the rear window, rear bumper with a small wrap around and indent in the middle, long fender crease above the rear wheels, forward angled A-pillar, etc.
