So what I want to suggest here is a time based multiplayer career where every week, the scenario set is changed. The concept is that, the lower the time is, the more you earn in the end of the week. If you damage your car in a race, you have to pay to repair it in the "career" garage and you can also upgrade parts and visuals of your car with in-game cash that can only be earned by playing. In the scenarios/races the ghosts of the best times are shown (and are in fact just semi transparent replays) as a reference and if you beat a certain time and reach a certain place, a percentage of the final reward ( earned at the end of the week ) but it is given to you but only once for one position.

So here are the main points :

-Online multiplayer but with only one car simulated (more details after)

-New pack of scenarios every week

-Ghost replays of the best times will be shown

-Positions are functions of time and/or damage

-The best your position is, the more you earn beam$ but only a percentage for every better position you achieve and the total reward is given to you at each end of the week.

-Any damage inflicted to the car has to be repaired with beam$

-Cosmetic and performance upgrades are available for a certain cost in beam$

-Maybe another less competitive mode like some kind of mini games available ( like mini maze, jump competition or a hill climb with a certain amount of fuel etc etc )

Any constructive comment on this idea is welcome ;)

    Have a nice day ^_^

No. But if i understand correctly you want 2 player multiplayer, right? only simulate another car in the gameworld? but the same issue found with any multiplayer is still present, to sync serverside and client side stuff.

NO that isn't it, I want 1 or more replayed race from someone else vs you and the ghosts are just replays, so the nodes and beams are not simulated, it's only that their positons are read by the game...

So you want racing by ghost replays? that would be using saved replays instead of multiplayer directly. Maybe it could work.

Multiseat is same-screen multiplayer. Could work at parties or something, IDK.

    No split-screen though soo
