Hello everyone I have been making some land speed cars and the one thing that always fails first are my wheels exploding from spinning to fast. I was wanting to know what parameter of the jbeam file I need to edit to make them hold together for longer thanks in advance for any help.

It's realistic. Most wheels irl explode over 450-ish kmh. That's why the Bugatti Chiron isn't going any faster to save the wheels (thats what I've heard atleast)

The game is realistic without modifications but I have 70 bar of boost in a japanese sports car and I just want to know what part of the jbeam file to edit to make my wheels stronger.

they made special 400kmh tires for it, im sure it can't drive faster and they can produce better tires

Well, speaking in physics terms, there is a maximum centripetal force that can be exerted by the wheel itself, which keeps it together at high speeds. Once this force is exceeded, the wheel will break. Based on that, I'd increase some rigidity/strength parameter for the tire and rim. I know next to nothing about jbeam, so i'd ask someone else about the specific details :)

I will try find the right parameters in the files I probably just need to look harder.

I just went and tested it again and the wheels exploded at 560kmh, this is with Alder Powertwist 15x12 wheels.

Try some thinner tires and bigger rims

I need the grip so I cant use thinner wheels because this is powerful enough to lift the front up at 400kmh with a gtrx splitter.

Try AWD, and thinner tires are usually grippier.

It's suppost to be realistic. If you have ever seen a drag car doing a burnout real close (i have a lot ;)) you can see the rear tires expand.

But i don't think there is a way to fix that. Sorry for the bad news bud :(

You could possibly increase the beam strength of the tire side wall/wheel wall? I have never tried something like that before, so I could be entirely wrong (if so please tell me because I am not a modder). Just trying to help! Good luck.

The tires are fine just the wheels explode and I dont care about realism in this case.

I dont know what the 'speirs drag' is but I will just go ask some people that are better modders than me for some help.

I want to drive the T Series drag truck at 800 MPH or faster. It needs really solid wheels.

They just span and exploded at a lower speed

This is probably a stupid idea, but you could try using the nodes/nodegrabber to keep them together
