Grid 2, Grid Autosport, Dirt Rally, and F1 2016 are on sale on steam and I am thinking of getting one or two, anyone have any suggestions? I usually find career mode on simulators rather boring so I am leaning away from F1 2016. I've always wanted to try a rally game though so I am interested in Dirt.
I can't say anything about Grid and F1, but Dirt Rally is great. I've definitely had tons of fun with it. However, it is a very unforgiving game. If you're driving beyond your limits, you'll very likely be sliding off the road all over the place. So if you're up to a challenge, have patience, and don't mind single player gameplay, then I recommend looking into Dirt Rally.
You'll never feel better about yourself than when you're alone in the McDonald's drive-thru at 11:00pm ordering an ice cream sundae and two apple pies, then they tell you they're out of pie and you just get the sundae so they know for sure it was all just for you.
Grid 2 was an appointment as an game over Grid 1(racedriver : grid). Both are arcade but grid 1 had arcade handling done right and grid 2 handling was just shit. (Press the accelerator to drift any car basically). Unfortunately Grid 1 is not available for purchase on steam anymore. F1 2016 is an decent F1 game with an alright career mode in F1 motorsporting but F1 2017 is waaaay better than F1 2016 in many ways. I have both and i don't want to go back to F1 2016 for any reason whatsoever. The cars are faster this year as well. Dirt Rally is an good game. It's focused on rally and hillclimb and nothing else, but it's also more aimed at the sim community. Haven't played Grid Autosport that much. I heard it's decent but you don't have your own team that you build on like you had in Grid 1, which is why i never bothered to check the game out. I guess autosport is in the same type of games like Pcars then? I don't know really. Never seen much talk about the game.
Time for a cleanup! (was 53.2GB, caught it late) --- Post updated --- I need more RAM, but I don't want to buy it :| --- Post updated --- No. Let me play Tennessee. --- Post updated --- That's an insane amount of max FPS for a PC being stressed to the BSOD point.

I've gotten under 1 GB on my laptop before, before I had to reinstall it that is. The constant balance of wanting to download more stuff and deleating just enough other stuff so it fits. Not a fun game
