some piece of sh#t "hunter" shot my cat today 50meters away from my home. long story short: he refused to identify, so i disarmed him, gentely put him into a temporary sleep condition and called the cops. but i forgot that i live in germany and here, disarming and putting out of action a lethaly armed, seemingly confused person that refuses to identify while sneaking around properties children live on randomly shooting things, is considered the heavier crime. i hate people.

They generally tend to side on the person who is being attacked even if the response was disproportionate since in the heat of the moment shit happens. I should also add in that Germany has a "stand your ground" style law that is very similar to the US.
they're changing thomas the tank engine to have more female engines from africa to encourage british girls to be engineers and also moving them off of sodor because that is the reason women don't become engineers it's not like some aspect of train engineering is inherently disgusting or something baa~~ka~ also they're going to make it environmentally friendly somehow make coal-burning, smoke-spewing engines environmentally friendly they're gonna chop off thomas' smoke stack and give him an electric sex change
I think that introducing more female characters is fair enough. Long story short, make a kids programs cast almost entirely male and it will attract almost exclusively boys (unless the cast is one direction or Justin Bieber...). If you put Lego in front of a kid their whole child hood they will probably want to build things when they are older, give them fashion dolls and the fashion industry may be more appealing. Also, "inherently disgusting", what does that have to do with anything? (and what is inherently disgusting about trains? its not like you are shovelling horse manure around, its just oil grease and sometimes fossil fuels)

It's going to take lot more than just changing a kids show to get more girls into engineering. I think most girls never get the chance to get hands-on with things early on and as a result don't have much interest in building things or seeing how they work. Both of my parents are engineers, so I didn't have much of a chance when it came to deciding what I was going to study. But yeah, my university is 27.1% female and 72.9% male students. Really tells the story about how many girls are going into engineering right now.

I can no longer say BeamNG has the worst graphical performance of any game. iRacing now takes the lead, running at a whopping 5 FPS on a GTX970.
BeamNG’s graphics are good! I think they are right for the kind of game that BeamNG is, it’s more about the cars. If you think it’s bad fool around with the postFX.
