True that about teachers not being able to do anything, tbh he is a bit passive aggressive, like he is like" if you don't do this homework then I will write you off, I will not help you throughout one of your most important years and you will have a hard time" Well I understand English Language, it's good, i will maybe get a B (6) but Literature I will be lucky to get a B/C (4/5) it's ok I guess, but doesn't sound that good when you are getting better grades in French than English!
Swim meet at 10:00 AM, my race list is still on my arm(7:00 PM in my timezone). Seems like it would be easier to just get a piece of paper with your races on it. --- Post updated --- Nice try, Russians. (This is a new mod! It was released a week ago or something around there)
YouTube is really wanting to push their YouTube Red thing. Every ad that seems to come up is for YouTube Red, at least on my main desktop. Also the amount of ads they have put in their videos is getting ridiculous. I exited out of watching a video in full screen and it decided to play an ad. No yellow dots were in the loading bar, just exit full screen and an ad appears.
This is where Ublock Origin comes into play, never had an ad on any youtube video since, and same on my phone, too bad there isn't any "free" adblocker to get rid of ads from apps and shit.
I'd love to support content creators, but YouTube Red isn't available in my country. I literally want to give YouTube money, but they're making it very difficult. I finally caved and got an adblocker a few months ago because it was getting insane.
If I want to support a creator I'm subbed too, usually the smaller channels. I either disable my adblocker on their videos or donate to them.
Yet the Google Store has them, Google is planning one and Opera has one preinstalled. And so far, haven't seen any legal issue from any.
If it was "illegal" to use an adblocker, then something would've happened by then, I've been using it for over a year now, with friends even using them longer, I haven't heard any horror stories of, what, the police busting down people's doors just because they're using an adblocker? "What are you in for?" "I got arrested for using an adblocker." "...What?"
That's just what I heard though. Done forgot where, but I heard someone say it was illegal to use one, I think they said because it would hurt the companies the ads are advertising, something like that. Now I'm wondering if I heard it from someone who wasn't legit. I think I might consider getting one now. Watching videos without unskippable ads and ads that will eventually freeze up and die on me would be nice. I think I hate those kind of ads more than the unskippable ones, because when they do that, I'm forced to reload the page. --- Post updated --- Update: I got uBlock Origin. The installation was very simple, and so far it's been effective.
Meanwhile on BeamNG.discord: @Tsutarja495 guessed it and WON the game! And Inertia rages in the background
I use uBlock Origin for pretty much everything .If there is a YouTuber I want to support then I either, donate through YouTube, Buy merch, Use Twitch Prime Sub on them, or just watch them on Twitch where I already have no adverts because of Twitch Prime, I assume Twitch pays them for my views. Recently I have found myself on Twitch reasonably often. I prefer how the platform works to YouTube and frankly is a very large part of my justification for having Amazon Prime.
