Thats cool! Is the headlight material problem related to my mod? Or was it like that before installation as well?
Yea I'm currently trying to modify the 200BX front suspension to fit into the pessima. Can't garantee that it will work, i guess it depends on how similar the jbeams are. But if that works, then I will definitely do 200bx engine swap for it. And also possibly an ETK i6 here is the 200bx engine with a custom ITB setup
I'm not sure actually Some of the custom configs I made have the no material issue, but selecting a base config and adding the pop-ups has the proper material. The other mod I'm using is the "Pessima Coupe" mod. It'd be cool to see the two cross over Also, when you select the pop-ups and the extra light, the extra light goes up with it. It still looks gorgeous though! Edit: Seems to have fixed itself
Yea I'd love to make it as cross compatible as possible. Sadly I think there are some compatibility issues rooted in the other mod. The extra light thing for example is because the popup lights run under the same group as the normal lights. It's an issue on the coupe mods behalf. (no disrespect to the coupe mod maker)
Hit up @hog0005, he swapped the 200BX suspension to the Miramar. I'm sure he can give you some pointers.
Thanks for the tip! But I got the hang of it yesterday evening. The trick is that the crossmember needs to be converted to 200BX, and this seems to be part of the unibody as far as the jbeam is concerned so this means the FR layout will have its own unibody. I will take this opportunity to slip in the RHD conversion as well and we can consider this FR sedan variant a JDM exclusive In other news, I've worked on making some sick window decals Sadly I'm too dumb to figure out a good way to alpha map the material, so instead I cropped out the shape of each individual decal mesh. Total of around 1k tris.
Just some old models of mine lol. I might throw em in! Nah no config yet. You gotta piece it together yourself, but hey that's half the fun right
A little sneaky peaky of the 200BX suspension in action. Just needs some work with the UV maps and materials now
