Hey guys. I know it's been a while since I last posted, but I felt like it was time to introduce the latest build at the Utah shop: 2FastLUL, a RWD twin-turbo SBR4 monster. This was my head mechanic Darryl putting it through the rigors of donuts. Gotta have a beauty shot, am I right? A nice close up on the 18x10 Folk ET73's off of an old hillclimb car we built last year, along with the Turbo Rabbit body kit. The tires are 275 sport tires, by the way. The wing's from, again, a hillclimb car we built last year, for the 2016 Aldcourt International Hillclimb. We managed to take first place. And here's a shot of the front end. 2FastLUL started life as a 2017 SBR4 AWD S, that we converted to rear wheel drive and added a twin turbo on top of that. To spice things up, we took out the ABS and traction control, so this thing'll rip rubber and you don't need to fiddle with any settings. Two versions of this car were built in the Loco Garage, one that was actually made for a movie, kinda like the Barstow Interceptor we built last year alongside the hillclimb car, and the one you see before you. The movie car was an otherwise bone stock 2016 SBR4 that we added the finishing touches to. The livery was designed by the artist NinetyNine, who we commissioned the artwork from. All things considered, it's a basic livery that says SBR4 on the right side, with a reversed version on the left.
It's a 1956 Satsuma 1500 Luxe. My dad bought it in 1969. That car stayed for 25 years before he sold it in 1994. Sadly, I don't know the whereabouts of the car now.
I know that's a '56 Satsuma, I'm saying my brother has a '78 Satsuma 200X. Last year before Ibishu bought out Satsuma, too.
yes its been a long time since when i posted, but too late! I now have an new house and 2 new cars: An 1981 Bruckell Moonhawk wagon as a project car, an 1979 Gavril H-Series Sport with the optional rear seats, and i still have the 1998 Gavril Roamer. I now work at BeamCom. I still live at Firwood.
'78 Satsuma 200X? Good luck to your brother then because I heard late-70s Satsumas have bad quality and reliability. After the buyout Satsumas have became more reliable then.
I heard that my elder brother keep my 1997 Ibishu Miramar ZR33 GTZ IBISMO 500Z at his garage somewhere at Sendai, Japan.
It's worth mentioning that my bro did a complete teardown and rebuild. Swapped the ZJ2 from a '99 Prasu into it, along with a complete electric overhaul. He uses it as a drift car a fair bit, and it looks amazing. Sounds amazing, too.
Wait, my dad bought a blue 1956 Satsuma 1500 luxe from a guy down the street who said he had it since the nineties, what was the registration for your dads old one, it could be the same car
Update! I haven't been able to take any pics because my camera broke, but I got it fixed. Here's what happened:On my way back from west coast, I bought a 1996 H-series pickup for $14500 to use as a towing rig. I also ran into one of my friends Ricky, who has a sick '71 Barstow. He was also on the way back from the event. I just made it back to my house yesterday.
