This is for the creators. Does the word "game" offend you when referring to BeamNG, even in the slightest. This may seem like an odd question, but let me explain: I once had a simulator of a physics engine. It was called endorphin. The 'learning edition' was and still is available for free. While most of you may have not heard of it, it was created by natural motion. They are famous for work in the gta games like 4 and 5. Anyway, many people would refer to it as a 'game' on the forums. This seemed to offend many people because "it wasnt a game. it was a simulator." I was wondering if this was the same case. I mean i would call beamng a game, but it may be too childish for some. What do you guys think? Also i apologize if this is a little off topic to be in the general forum.
It's not technically a game yet, because there's no gameplay Eventually it'll be an open-world driving (or general vehicle) game, but for now it's just a vehicle simulator/sandbox. Gameplay is coming in the next update
that is true haha i guess for it to be defined as a game, there must be some sort of achievable outcome or something like that haha im very much looking forward to the update
So the next update is going to include the Story Mode thingy that you've talking about? That would be so cool! If not, meh ,at least we are getting two more vehicles to spend hours playing with them.
