yeah, i think that system has failed as putting the rear window heater on causes the radio to fall to static
Paint is totally shot but, New Coolant Temp Sensor, Throttle Body Gaskets, Intake Plenum Gasket, Fuel Pump, Air Charge Temp Sensor, Thermostat, radiator hoses, Fuel Pressure Regulator, MSD Distributor Cap & Rotor, Fuel Filter, Spark Plugs, Both Serpentine Belts and Water-pump... I am interested. Engine bay looks really clean.
Where did that thing come from, a time machine? The mileage is impressively low for a car of such age.
Any Idea how much it would cost to fix this crack? It's mostly covered by the front plate but i'd like to take that off, and get the holes covered from that too.
You could diy that as well. Drill holes at both ends of the crack to prevent it spreading. Then use a rotary tool to carve the crack a bit bigger and then use body filler to fill the crack. Sand and paint and done. There are some vids about that in YouTube, pretty sure. Since the plate covers it, that would be the smartest choise I'd say.
I don't think I'd put bondo on a plastic bumper. I don't doubt that it would look good if done right, but bumpers flex. One little bump, even from someone doing something like running a shopping car into it, and your repair is ruined. There are kits to fix cracks like that with epoxy. To get it properly fixed would be however much a new bumper cover costs, plus labor for a bodyshop to paint it. Probably more than you have in mind. If it were covered by the plate, I'd probably drill holes at either end and stitch it up with zipties, but since you want to take the plate off I don't know what to tell you.
The Yukon is a piece of junk. I need something reliable to drive while I make the Yukon reliable. Like a crown vic. A crown vic is exactly what I need. I need a crown vic in my life.
Don't you mean a Grand Marshal? Anyway, those things are pretty tough. They're also pretty cheap if you buy police surplus ($500-$1000), and parts are easy to find. As a bonus, you get a V8 standard!
I didn't notice the plates before, where is that? The plates look European and I just can't image trying to maneuver a Super Duty down European roads.
