    I think a matte black hood would look good on the Barstow.

    Any chances of getting a roll cage added? I love the drag version of this car, but it could use a roll cage.

    Hey, I've noticed that compared to most other cars, the Barstow takes a lot longer to hydrolock, where some cars take 2-3 seconds, the Barstow takes 10ish...

    I'm wondering if this is going to be fixed in the next update
    No, I had no mods installed at the time

    I think a newer Barstow would probably be a good candidate.

    Speaking of this picture, it gives me a bit of a Ford Thunderbird vibe.

    The 423 and 291 ought to have much higher redlines. Back in the 60s, the engines were made with great internals and were made mostly for performance. No reas9n the big block shouldn't hit 6k And that 291 should be able to rev to the moon. 7-7.5k red line is not unreasonable. Auto manufacturers lied about the output of the engines back in the day for many reasons, the most prominent being that insurance was cheaper with a lower rated power output. Several American engines from the 60s are actually far more badass than advertised on paper.

    They lied about engine power output until the final 90's early '00s , like with the mk10 Skyline GTR (also know as r34) it had a maximun output of 320hp, but nissan said that it only deliverys 280hp,
    look at this power curve!
    white is power...
    Also, the big block v8's they can have a bigger redline, as they are very 'bullet-proof' (not as much as a 2jz...) ,but the reason for lowering redline is problably make it last longer:confused::confused:

    The performance engines should rev higher that what I've seen in videos but the standard engines, not so much. Of course, maybe that was Gavril's thing back in the 1960s - rather than upgrading their engines to match their competitors, they simply stuck a supercharger to the low-rev stock engines. Wouldn't have been useful in NASCAR as they'd banned supercharging back in 1958 or something, but on the street it could still work.

    It was a gentleman's agreement between Japanese auto manufacturers to lower the output but yes just as lied about as the American cars. Even when the srt4 came out by dodge, it produced much higher output than advertised and ate up everything on in the street.

    It is a muscle/pony car. I think they would have produced nearly as impressive 3ngines as any other auto manufacturer. I just think the d3vs/Gabe probably just compared the power curves of the "advertised" power of the old American cars.

    You can break a 2JZ super quick, considering it's an inline engine.

    It all depends on the user... But as far as i know, i saw people talk very well about this engine, but yeah, its easy to break it, well if the user is a person totally careless with his car it can break everything tho.
