So this is still heavily a WIP and is nowhere near finished, but I've been working on this lil suburban body for the D-Series. I thought it'd be neat to post here cuz I haven't seen anything even remotely resembling a Suburban for BeamNG and who wouldn't want to drive a barge on wheels around. On the slight off chance that I actually ever get it working and release it, there won't be any branding. Thats just for shits and giggles. The hope is that it can just be a part for the D-series rather than a whole new car.
Closest we have right now is Roamer XL by @synsol https://www.beamng.com/resources/roamer-xl-pickup-long-bed-and-extended-short-bed.1771/ But please continue... I'm a sucker for those dual rectangle beam lights on truck and SUV!
My biggest qualm with the roamer is it looks way too much like a Ford Explorer. I'm a huge sucker for GM style back windows and the late 90s boxy yet sleek body style.
just a progress report for the day. got the rear hatch basically done and fixed a LOT of topology problems
That be my plan for what I'm gonna do next. Was originally gonna do that today instead of a regular hatch, but after spending so much time fixing a million little things i took the easy way out also so i have an excuse to do something other than actually work on it here's what it might look like in-game and here's what it might look like made of solid gold
