https://www.beamng.com/resources/photo-room.1401/ Just a teaser of the wider flares and vented hood on the new wide track race variant I'm working on atm
I'll look into making them compatible over the next couple of days. I havent used the Miramar Z yet but I wouldnt imagine it shouldnt be too hard. The reason the running gear is a separate part at the moment is because the subframes for the front and rear suspension are part of the modified body, the same as they were in the 200bx. This also allowed me to remove a few of the old mounts etc that are unused by the 200bx parts and helped keep tge underbody looking a little cleaner. If I include the subframes in their respective suspension files all of the parts should be compatible with any of miramar mods available. I'm currently away, but it shouldnt take long once I get home tomorrow night.
One a more serious note, the front suspension is either made of paper or I am missing a part, with the inline 6 and a bit of hard driving in tarmac the front suspension collapsed, even with the vanilla race engine it does it
Hey Manche, any chance you can send me the config file for your car that is collapsing in the front mate? I tried to recreate your issue last night but couldn't get it to fold up like that... Inline 6 engine.... Are you using the Miramar hot rod as well? There may well be a conflict there that I need to sort out. Thanks for posting about the issue though mate, I appreciate the replies and feed back coming in from everyone, they're really helping things come along much quicker. Do a drift they said, it'll be fun they said.... well....
it was my bad I forgo to isntall the strut bars, nowits stronger but still collapses, even with the ls1 block stuffed into it
Just another teaser... Next Update will be a big one and includes a real drag setup, best time so far is a 7.11 second 1/4 mile at just over 300kmh and 1.2 seconds to 100kmh. The suspension performance of the 200BX parts has been massively improved with a lot more work done to the jbeams and I've included a set of air ride shocks that are height adjustable using the page up and down keys as well as a "400BX" V8 engine with custom model that is based on the original 200BX i4. All 200bx parts are now compatible with the Z coupe mod' by NinetyNine! as well as most other Miramar mods, the only thing that may bother a few people is that the extra width of the 200bx IRS means you wont be able to fit huge wheels under the coupe as it doesn't come with fender flares but 12inch wide tires will fit under the wide body version. Keep an eye on this thread as I will be releasing it in the next day or two.
Yeah mate, I'll chop the stock one up and side mount the plate for you. Sorry its taken so long, I got a little wrapped up once I got started tweaking the suspension as it took a lot more work than I had anticipated to make things compatible with the Z model. I hope the improvements are worth the wait ☺
Yeah man ill make a couple of versions of it and you guys can tell me what you like or dislike.. I just put the drop on it because it looked kinda janky without it imo but its no hassle to make a stocker looking one... it will be cut right through though as i only had room to leave about a centimetre of bumper under the intercooler.. How are you guys finding everything else?
