The topdown camera has a really hard time tracking the vehicle. It leads the vehicle too much. At 30+ mph, the car is completely out of frame.

 

I can't save custom configs.
It doesn't work in safe mode either

 

If that's a case... that's quite bad for modders like me that uses it.

 

There's always stuff missing from the dev blog. The biggest things I have noticed to date are configs and parts though, never a prop.

 

Nope, your game is broken. Try verifying integrity.

If you mean from the vehicle selector and you don't see your custom config, there's a setting somewhere...

 

Not sure if it's a bug or not, but if you fire the cannon and switch to the cannanball camera, you can still here the "engine" of the cannon after flying far away.

 

When i use the thumbnail generator to make a thumb for my config, it goes through my car, and all the other cars as well (all of the pessimas) it also defaults to the highest res (which mine is a gargantuan custom res i made once, can never get rid of) it's a mess for me ;c
And the thumbnail doesen't even work for my car

 

I just verified integrity (nothing wrong) and turned on the settings.
When I hit "save" in the save and load menu, or i create the config in the garage, it doesn't create a file like it's supposed to.

 

Reinstall the game then. It works for me... i don't know why it doesn't for you.

 

I have no problems with the update. I have to say, for the JDM fan I am, the sounds are AMAZING. and to me, the cars in game seem to handle a lot smoother.

 

The interior sound filter only works around the drivers seat, so if the relative camera is on the passenger seat or anywhere else in the car the sound is the outside sound

i put an apostrophe in it

 

i fixed my own problem
If you're going to generate thumbs for your car, make sure the config doesen't have spaces in it, if you want spaces use underlines, or else it won't work, it didn't for me anyway.

Clair de Lune. I'm pretty sure it's a reference to this Polygon series, which uses the tune in question really rather often.

Okay so: the update. I sympathize with the members that have argued that, for all the wait and hype, this update wasn't the crown jewel. Especially as content was concerned. However, the sound system was always this game's Achilles's heel, and I respectfully admit that the work that must be done to make a component, or the importance of said component, isn't always equal to the satisfaction one experiences while using it. Nice engine sounds, nice dynamic sound features, and the AI seems more competent and ferocious than ever. I'm gonna giggle every time I get the satisfaction of hearing the ignition for the next few days.

So, i just updated my game and even streamed it for a few hours, the first time was sooo frustrating because i couldn't get the driving assists to turn off, so i stopped playing and a few hours later i remembered this game has a forum X3 and i began to check for that driving assist problem, well it was in the OP and i was like awesome they already have a fix for it! Whats the fix? "Deleting the settings file." Except this only works once...you have to delete your settings file every time you load a new map...meaning if you want to play the game but choose a different map you have to exit the game, delete the settings file and restart the game and then set up everything you want again camera settings, resolution, full screen, etc. I have yet to read through 200 replies for another fix yet but i just thought i'd voice the frustration >~< but other then that, i love the new update! new sounds almost feel like its a completely changed game!

 

the update broke the drag link steering on the d series. cant shift into 4wd while stationary without it breaking

Completely agree with what you said about the update. Some of the most important things sometimes are a lot of work for not much satisfaction, but its needed for bigger things down the road. It's really getting on my nerves how many people are complaining this update about some really silly things.

 

@Nadeox1 i found a bug on the utah bridge. Its like a hole that cars fall into. Like quick sand. This happens every time i drive over this spot.

 

I can also say that this same... thing is happening with mesh roads as well. Really odd and difficult to duplicate, happens sometimes and not others.
