if you have trouble getting it to work, try renaming the dxdi.dll file to d3d11.dll (located -> (Wherever you installed BeamNG)/BeamNG.drive/Bin64/) How to Install ReShade Note - The version of ReShade I used for this tutorial was: 3.1.2.312 - Tested for BeamNG 0.11.5 Step 1 - Download ReShade from here: https://reshade.me/#download The file you download will be a .exe file. Step 2 - Run the .exe file you downloaded. You should see a window that looks like this: Step 3 - Click the big "Select game" button. You should see a window that looks like this: Step 4 - Select "BeamNG.drive.x64" Step 5 - Click "Direct3D 10+" (As seen in step 2) Step 6 - When it asks if you wish do download a collection of standard effects, select "Yes". Step 7 - It will then ask which shaders to install. Go ahead and press "OK". Once you see this, pat yourself on the back. ReShade is now installed. Step 8 - After you finish installing ReShade, launch BeamNG. You should see some text at the upper left corner of the screen that looks like this: ReShade should now be installed. Step 9 - Start BeamNG and press "Shift+F2" on your keyboard. You should see this window appear in the center of the screen: The menu will have a tutorial that helps you become familiar with how to use and configure ReShade. How to Uninstall ReShade Step 1 - Make sure BeamNG.drive is closed. Step 2 - Navigate to /(Wherever you installed BeamNG)/BeamNG.drive/Bin64/ Step 3 - Remove the following three things: Remove the "reshade-shaders" folder. Remove any presets you created. (name_of_preset.ini) Sort the remaining files my date created. Remove the most recent ".dll" file that was created. It's most likely called: "dxgi.dll" Step 4 - After you are finished, launch BeamNG. ReShade should now be completely uninstalled. I hope you find this tutorial helpful!
ReShade wont open, i click run and nothing happens --- Post updated --- Ok nevermind that i got it to open after i closed steam
I am using windows 10, and the second picture you put in the first post doesn't happen with mine, and I cannot find a bin64 folder.
I'm using Windows 7. It might be different for Windows 10. I used ReShade 3.0.7 for the tutorial. It looks like a new version came out today (07/16/2017). I'll investigate it. Thanks for letting me know.
I actually didn't see this thread and managed to install it myself However, BeamNG crashes every time I put it in full screen. Could be old drivers but I feel like not messing with them anymore. @EcoNadder77 could you share your preset? It looks awesome.
I hadn't noticed you were using different presets but these look amazing: https://www.beamng.com/threads/comm...ge-of-beamng-drive.1141/page-2250#post-646959 https://www.beamng.com/threads/comm...ge-of-beamng-drive.1141/page-2246#post-646364 https://www.beamng.com/threads/comm...ge-of-beamng-drive.1141/page-2230#post-643311 Also could you try fullscreen? I'm using nvidia (old drivers) and over a hdmi.
Fullscreen worked just fine for me. I'm using a AMD Radeon HD 6950 over HDMI, and I'm running ReShade 3.0.7. I've attached my main preset. Just extract the preset and put it into the Bin64 folder. Every time I take a screenshot, I tweak the preset slightly. This is the starting point that everything is tweaked from. Enjoy!
Delete the folders related to reshade (don't remember the names rn) and then sort the bin64 folder with newest / last modified and delete the most recent .dll file. After this go to steam and verify files. Worked for me.
I think a verify from the beginning would work just fine. However, why the need to uninstall reshade? I guess with Reshade 3, the notification at the top every new vehicle does get annoying.
I haven't tried installing ReShade in 0.11.3 yet, but the installation should be the same as before. Please let me know if it doesn't work as expected. Thanks
This thread saved me.. Thanks!! I was asking people all over how to install re-shade, it's finally a thing! It just took me long to find it.
