True, but he appears to live in Australia, which while not exactly England, is still a part of the Commonwealth. I know in Great Britain proper car insurance basically amounts to legalized extortion, not sure about Australia but I assume it might still be more expensive there.
It's not $900 a month but its over $1000 for rego and insurance annually. I don't even have comprehensive cover (the insurance covers your car if it gets damaged), just compulsory third party (if I hit someone that means my insurance can buy another person) and I also have third party property (which is if i smack into someone's expensive BMW I don't have to fork out $50K out of pocket). The real reason my insurance is so high is that I'm a male under 25 without a full license. Simple as that.
@JBatic @Shotgun Chuck He didn't say it was per month. Average insurance for an under-25 male in New South Wales is $2,600 per year so I highly doubt he's paying four times that for a $300 Hyundai. EDIT: Ninja'd

I got it worse though. I got a two week ban for posting things. I went through my post history and saw no insulting others or poor behavior. Just a bunch of opinions, jokes, and questions. But yeah, it sucks.
The moderators love me, I think.. Only 1 warning point, and that was when I was new and bumped the oldest thread I saw. I was slightly more idiotic back then. No bans, no deleted posts (individually, some incidents had my posts), and forgiveness. I accused Nadeox1 on the IRC for being fake the other day, and he handled it really cool and humorous. Bought a pair of speakers the other day from a seller on eBay, they got damaged in shipping *Dislodged mid range speaker cone and a nice dent on the top rear right corner*, seller told me he'd send me a partial refund to cover the loss of value annnd I've yet to see a cent of that refund... Chance you take with fleabay I guess... Doub't I'll start a claim, I fixed the mid range speaker by heating up the glue on the surround and carefully re attaching it to the cone, as for the dent I'm no wood worker so I guess I'll just live with it. At the end of the day I have a nice pair of great sounding loudspeakers. Woe is me!
