Yeah it completely locked me out of my Tennessee map, and I had an update planned for this weekend. I think I am going to join Ghost (leave the mapping scene) and don't blame him one bit for leavin'. Trying to get documentation for things is like pulling teeth.
It's fixed, I just need time to upload it (on mobile until tomorrow). Thankfully, only simple errors I fixed my issues by making sure any texture in any materials.cs was mapped locally inside my map's folder.

AMAZING MAP! This level is perfect for top-speed excitement in a very fast car. The sheer scale of this map is is breathtaking, and the roads are very well-crafted. The entire map is laid out very well - it feels as though modeled on a real place, with large geographic features, and realistic roads that are perfectly tailored to the landscape. The real enjoyment of this map comes from it's sheer size, and realistic feel, much like "Tennessee" map. It took me days to explore all of this environment, and it happens to be the first environment where I have run out of fuel before destroying my vehicle! Some areas of this map feel like I am playing an old-school Need For Speed game - you just don't get this kind of amazing level design in today's popular "racing" franchises. This is quality. Areas for improvement: -Right now much of the material covering the non-road areas is the same. Add some small rocks and roughen up the areas bordering the roads. Right now I can drive straight off the road and across the whole map without much difficulty in a regular car. Use features/props found in the BeamNG "Utah" environment to make the off-road areas more rugged. Right now it's very hard to have a bad crash if you run off the road. Make it more dangerous! -Some of the water features (like the river running down from the lake) look very rough, and could use some refinement. Right now there is water running downhill at steep angles, and if you add some small water falls, and flatten out the water in between, or add rocks, it will look more realistic. You can even make a small dirt road following it into a small off-road/rally course, it would add a nice feature to the map. -The hairpin/intersection at the "opposite" end of the map needs to be built up a bit more... right now it forms a pretty awkward spot. It would be nice to have a town, some landmarks, or something here to make the curve more recognizable... maybe bank it a little bit as well. Right now it just comes out of nowhere. Anyways thanks so much for making this map! It ranks in my Top 3! Please keep updating this map, I'd love to keep exploring it!
There's always room for improvement. I will try my best with what little time I have. I work full-time now some coming home to mod isn't my go-to.
i really love this map it made this game good again but i would like you to give use a map or something to know where are we going :>
Great map! My favorite. Just one thing, same areas the mountain pass road is too much banked over. When I'm hauling my truck up there it always tips over. Please fix that.
I think he is talking about the hillclimb section just out of spawn. I remember it is a bit unrealistically banked.
Yes the hillclimb bit is what I'm talking about. here are some of the worst areas. It's mostly from the waterfall to the tunnel.
I decided to curiously take that road you were talking about with the roll and pitch apps out, and I do have to say... some of the route does bank a little over 20 degrees, definitely wouldn't want to break down on a slope like this.
Excellent, thanks guys. I agree, those are some shit-yourself angles. That's me trying to climb elevation quickly to get to the tunnel; I'll try my best to get time to look at this again.
Update has been posted! Version 13.1 waiting for approval: Hey guys, took a couple hours today to fix up some stuff you've been bugging me on (all good things, keep doing this!) Changelog: Fixed many road-to-road transitions. Many roads were badly overlapping. Fixed some unrealistic bank curves on the hill climb portion, some areas had banks up to 25 degrees. These have areas have been vastly normalized and have had signs added. Fixed water. The physics were broken on the lake and on the river. Deleted these and remade them and the physics are working. Darkened the water a bit and made the ripples flow in the logical direction. Fixed/removed some areas with vegetation on the road. Added multiple preview pictures for a mini slideshow in the level selector. Updated preview picture.

Whoa! where did this crater come from? Definitely caught me off guard completely when I was doing excessive speeding in the dark even at 55 miles/hour I still end up leaving the ground with these sudden incline changes.
