Forza Motorsport 7 (E3 2017)

Discussion and thoughts thread for Forza 7 which was announced today with it's cover car (2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS) and the Xbox One X (Scorpio).

Looks pretty cool IMO, will preorder the Ultimate for my current Xbox One (will get the One X eventually).



It will even launch with 700 cars...will definitely have some special cars in the game.

 

Xbox one X? I thought it was the one S.

 

No, the S is the other "4k" xbox one but not really because the X is the actual 4k one.

Yeah it makes very little sense to buy an S or why it even exists, other than being a bit cheaper of course.

BTW I heard that future Forza games will also come to PC won't they?

 

with the Xbox Play Anywhere program as long as it's the digital copy (won't work on discs). Forza Horizon 3 is the first full Forza game to run with Windows 10 and Forza 7 will be next

 

700 cars? That's nuts. And it looks like you'll need an ultra-fast gaming PC to even remotely run this, the graphics are so good.

And what happened to 4, 5, and 6?

 

Wait what
That isn't the Turn10 we've gotten used to the last few years. That means they actually added cars this time instead of removing ones. Hopefully they don't cut a ton of tracks like they did with Forza 6 compared to Forza 4

 

Here's a 2-lap race around Nurburgring GP in the MOTUL AUTECH GT-R in the rain, video was recorded on the One X.


Forza has also put quite some detail into the car, more than usual. If you look closely, the spoiler shakes in the wind and so does the windscreen wiper. Even the straight-cut gears can easily be heard.

Im definatly going to get forza 7 im not quite sure if i get a one x but i do think its time to get a xbox so the x is the one im probably going for

 

MS kinda remade a Horizon 3 screenshot in Motorsport 7, I think it speaks for itself:

That kinda proves that the one x is kind of the next generation of xbox

 

And that Forza 7 looks aweome

 

I've been a big fan of the Horizon series but...

700 cars... well I may just have to pick this one up

700 cars I hope Mitsubishi will have a bigger list of cars (especially in future dlc packs) this time around.



So I guess this game will be the first xbox one gen to have the S14 In it at launch.



Will Fujimi kaido make its appearance?as it will shut up the drifter community up for awhile.

 

I hope for Skoda and Mitsuoka cars to be in the game, because it really needs to be in the game to drive around.

 

I'm wondering if Volkswagen exists since they were completely forgotten in Horizon 3.

 

I hope so. I like VW cars.
