How to convert a .mesh file?

Whats a reliable and free method for converting .mesh files?

 

There was a version of blender somebody had made that was portable and had all the tools needed. Let me see if i can find it

I'll have to see if the BlenderImport tool works, but I cant find the download?

I've downloaded it, but when I try installing it in Blender, it doesn't show up in the addons.

you have to have a really vintage blender portable with the addon preinstalled
i still proably have it somehwere and some people might, it was on ror forums but with those its probably gone now.
ask around.
