Ford is an american brand, but pretty much 80% of their lineup is european designed... The real reason the Gavrils from RoR aren't in BeamNG is because they have a much inferior quality to the cars the devs make now, so gabe doesn't want them in the game as they'd ruin the overall quality of BeamNG
IMO, the Barstow is in some ways a reincarnation of the Bandit. They have very similar features, but have their own traits to make them more unique.
I also think some cars are reincarnations of RoR cars. Gavril G2 = Ibishu 200BX Gavril GV = Hirochi SBR4 Gavril MV4 = ETK 800 Gavril MZ2 = Civetta Bolide Gavril Zeta = Ibishu Hopper
GV3/5 are small-sized cars, Zeta is more like Roamer-sized though it has a 3-door version. Wish gabester can make all of them into BNG one day though, but not likely
Intresting! Would it also mean CVTs and other auto boxes have adaptive logic like Volvo's Geartronic?
so optional rev limiters.....and we don't even have a rotary style engine (this is somewhat of an issue @gabester ) reworked minimap and possibly Beamng finally coming to Apple computers in the future possibly......
i hope beamng does come to apple......just because i have a kind of high spec apple in my bonus room.
Hah don't get your hopes up, they won't support an OS in a few minutes. More likely it has something to do with the remote app.
Unless you have a source saying otherwise, no. The devs have mentioned in several times that BeamNG will remain on Windows only for the foreseeable future.
I'm going to say that he was eating an apple with his coffee. And, a few minutes is not long enough to change from DX11 to Vulkan, which would be required for any chance of a macOS release. @tdev, if you don't mind me asking, what editor is that? It looks similar to Sublime, but I don't think it is.
Yeah I'm not saying that tdev is making BeamNG available on Apple, I'm just trying to show where the statement came from. OT: I see that Italy is starting to be detailed, maybe coming closer to completion??? I'm sure it won't come in the next update though.
i wonder if the apple pic with the navigation ui shown means the possibility of ploping a location on the map for the car to drive to? due to the red dot...
I think that there's a tan car sitting in roughly the same position and direction of the red arrow. It could be a rock and I could be wrong, but that's what seems to be the case when I look at it.
What Tdev said about "working on Apple for the next few minutes" could be referring to the steering wheel app things for phones, I'm almost sure that would take more than a few minutes but still just a wild guess as if to there was any kind of significance to that.
