Is the Soliad Wendover the last car?

It's the last one in the batch of cars that were given a preview on the forums.

Not the last one ever.

 

There was The Concept List...it looked like this.

The concept stage was a brainstorming list, that is it. We got the Hopper, late gen Pessima and face-lifted Moonhawk as well as a set of wheels that seem to be for what the Civetta Fulmine was described as. However, none of these were promised and the devs don't like it when people communicate that list as if it was promised (I assume that is why there is always a stern response to the mention of that list. The dev team has always been careful to only promise what they can, which is why we almost never get release dates for updates). The list of previews on the forums were a bunch of 2012 concepts which were promised. The Over the Horizon dev post made it clear that vehicle development will continue after the Solidad is released.

 

1) last i heard the concept car list was fan made. Im not entirely sure. The point is, dont get hyped for it yet.

2) wendover is the last car? NO. cant find people asking before, probably because its a stupid question and has been deleted. There has been at least one car added since the original list of cars and models of them was made. Theres also no reason for it to be the last car. Use some logic and realize that the devs can make ANY car they want when that original list is done.

SPECULATION:
seeing how the devs do not like setting deadlines or promising stuff by a certain time, it wouldnt surprise me that the devs have more planned but havent said anything. Also once they DO say something everyone here takes it to heart and over hypes the crap out of it. So thats probably another reason.

 

1. I do know that a few of the cars on the list are official. The Charmand, the Fulmine, and the Bruckell Albatross were mentioned by Gabester in the past.

2. Judging by their past activity, I think it's safe to assume that they might throw in some never before seen/mentioned vehicles for some updates. Maybe sooner or later, a minivan might happen, considering that it is one of the most requested vehicle types by far.

Also, is it me? Or was the Wendover's Content created by BeamNG thread removed?

 

Not just you. I think when the forums got migrated to a new software?(idk what its called) a bunch of official threads got messed up. That may have been one of them. The problem was only recently taken care of.

No. It's the last one they have planned knowing Gabe & Mitch they will probably have a car or 2 we have never heard of before the Wendover then we could have a new list.

According to Gabester, the Charmand is a French hatchback similar to the Peugeot 205 and Renault 5, the Fulmine is a GT 2+2 similar to the Maserati 3500 GT and Ferrari 330 GT, and the Albatross, apparently a type of coupe, here's a sketch gabester did of it.

I heard the Civetta Fulmine will come out with the Italy map.

 

I think it would be great if it happened, but it's very likely that the car won't make it, as much as I'd like it to survive.

 

How long does it typically take for the devs to make a new car? If it does not take that long and does not require a ton of work, and BeamNG continues to be this successful, then I could see more official content in the future, and not just cars.

 

And BeamNG was originally planned to be a derby game, hence the World War Sedan.
The devs said they will turn their focus to coupes, suvs, etc.
