as some of you may know, I now know how to have a BeamNG car configuration as a .zip file. (Thanks @Nadeox1 !) but I would like to release this config I have made on the repo. In order to have it as a released configuration, I understand I need to edit the info. json file. But how do I do this? And how do I create a preset image?

    Thanks

The info.json file can be edited with any text editor. You can change the preview image by changing the image included in the zip's name, and then matching that name with the one in the info.json. I would just copy another preview image from another car, and just paste a picture of the config over it, to keep it the same size.

So, double click the info.json file.
Windows will ask how to open it. Use notepad or notepad++

I know as much as I need Notepad++ or something like that, but how the hell do I do that info.json stuff? Learning is a wonderful thing.

Wait, so you don't have an info.json file? If you don't, copy it over from a default config for the same car.

It should be located in your beamng drive directory, in the zip for the car.

If possible, could you post a picture of the config files in the zip?
