Just to see how strong PGA CPUs are, I used a pentium 4 as a comb for a week. Only one pin broke off, however it was repaired after being bent flat so I can't blame it. Also a great comb.

Been holding back on updating my drivers recently, but now my RX 460 is crashing constantly, aswell as flickering on some websites. Guess I need to update from 16.something to 17.something :/

Initiating project rebuild my first PC build. Exact motherboard, ordered my Processor (Pentium 3 933) from eBay for the costly sum of £6. Need to find a period correct power supply of which I have many in our attic. 40GB maxtor drive not the same model that was in mine but the same brand, mine was the 30GB model. And the Benq DVD drive that is the only part I have left from the original PC. Just need to find a similar video card and a Sound Blaster Live! Sound card. Wish I could find the case I had to but I doubt I'll ever find one.

Just out of curiosity, what would an old motherboard like that have in terms of i/o?

Rear I/O? PS/2 mouse and keyboard, 4 USB ports *Fancy*, line in, out and mic, parallel port, VGA and Serial.

It's an Intel D815EEA2 for those curious. Even smells like my old PC oddly enough... Nostalgia man..

I was just rooting around in one of my part bin's and found my old Sound Blaster Live! I thought I threw it away with the rest of the original components when I upgraded it.

Nice! I got one of those for free in a curbside pickup with a few GPUs and 4 HDDs.

Is a GTX 970M good enough to run this game on ultra 1080@60? I am thinking of getting an MSI laptop as well. This game is a walk through the park on my GTX 1070 so I can't compare

Should be, w/o some reflections of course.

I don't play with dynamic reflections anyway since I personally think they look terrible especially on modded cars, the only thing I drive, lol

probably not no, a 970M really isnt a powerful card, adequate, just not insane.

According to userbenchmark, it is smack dab in the middle of a GTX 950 and 960. So probably, just not with maximum AA or stuff like that. Also if the laptop has g-sync, it will be fine.

Shoehorned my PSU and GTX 970 into this Compaq I bought that Phenom for. Performs a hell of a lot better than the Pentium E5700. But man getting all that to fit was one hell of a task.

Well, good news and bad news. Good news Motherboard came today! Pretty stoked. Bad news, stupid ASUS motherboard took my I5 out. Guess I'll turn it into a keyring.. Atleased a friend came through and gave me a Celeron G550 "Out of pity". Ah well, perfect excuse to get a 2600k or a 3770k.

Project Rebuild my first PC build is coming along nicely, found a nice Nvidia video card that's similar to the one I had and found a suitable power supply. SB Live! Is in as is the Pentium 3 933.

And now I'm going to apply some thermal paste to that Pentium 3 and spead it with my finger and there's nothing you can do about it!

You could but you won't see any performance increase.
