I have an idea for a few parts for hotrodding: - Super engines - a Gavril 503 ci/586 ci/672 ci V8 (available in the Barstow, Bluebuck and Burnside) and a Bruckell 470 ci/540 ci/632 ci V8 (available in the Moonhawk). In top versions with Stage 4 or 5 superchargers, they should make about 3100-3300 HP, - A 7.2 V10 Gavril turbodiesel, able to be cranked up to 1300-1500 HP, available in the D-Series, H-Series, Grand Marshall, Moonhawk, Barstow, Bluebuck and Burnside, - An ability to swap the 5.5 Gavril V8 into the Civetta Bolide, Ibishu Hopper and Ibishu 200BX, - Narrow tubs - a narrower rear suspension, allowing for the fitment of wider tires into the Barstow and Monnhawk's wheelarches, - Wider drag rims and tires - 15x16, 15x18 and maybe even 15×20, - Nitrous - increases power, but also engine temperature, - Engine tube frames - tube frames replacing the front frame and holding the engine, required for the 632 and 672 ci V8s, - Transbrakes in drag transmissions, - Stopping parachutes for the drag cars, - Hood scoops for the Barstow, Moonhawk, Bluebuck and Burnside, - Wheelie bars for the Burnside and Bluebuck, - Front solid axle conversions for the Burnside, Bluebuck, Barstow and Moonhawk, - Side-exit and cut-header exhausts for all V8s and V10s, apart from the Bolide's standard one, - Fuel cells and proper bucket seats for competition cars, and also switch panel dashboards and digital race gauges for some of them.
I agree completely. I think BeamNG has the potential to be a fantastic drag racing sim. And the best part is it only requires two cars on screen at a time! Add to this working christmas tree with staging, as well as the ability to do bracket racing.
In fact, BeamNG would be the only drag sim (because Forza's idea of "drag tires" is laughable for actual drag aficionados).
There hasn't been a good drag racing sim since Bethesda released Burnout Championship Drag Racing. http://www.old-games.com/download/7319/burnout-championship-drag-racing
