i just take a screenshot and press ctrl+v in the comment box to upload it, much quicker imo. does it do any difference?
not having to open a new tab to see a enlarged version of the picture. do you have steam? look for the screenshot folder.
Thanks, i'll fix the rims tomorrow so they fit better, those are 17x10.5 so maybe 15x10.5 would fit better
Since the honeycomb tires are not filled with air, I suggest not making them deflate able --- Post updated --- I know you said that this might override some parts but just a heads-up, this overrides the front tires in the Hopper's Custom config. Just thought I'd let you know so it could be fixed. --- Post updated --- For the lightbars you need to use glowgroups. I don't know how to use them but that's what's needed.
While you're working on tires, I have two requests. My first request is that you make actual honest-to-god tractor tires for this thing, like what you see on some offroaders. Like the tires on a New Holland T6. You could have an option for front tractor tires or rear tractor tires. My second suggestion is less tire related. I want you to do whatever you can to fit a tractor engine in the Hopper, given that tractor engines are extremely torquey.
Yes i had tire tractorson my list, the kind of tires you'd see on a redneck mud truck. Here's a picture of what i mean, tell me if those are what you want. I can make wider ones if you'd like it better. I am also working on a high power diesel engine with a cummins 6bt sound, it's not based on a tractor engine or anything, but will have high torque and a 3000rpm limit. I kept the mesh from the original straight 6 though so it will be the same thing visually.
Okay, thanks for telling me. I have a question though. Will there be a tune for the diesel where it is a super-powerful(realistically, I mean) coal roller? Edit: Yes I would love to have tires like that, those were exactly what I meant.
the diesel engine is already available but in next update it will be more powerful, i set particulate to the maximum but i still feel likes there's just not enough smoke
The 12 valve Cummins is probably my favorite sounding engine ever. We have one, not this exact one, but the turbo sound is crazy. --- Post updated --- The 12 Valve 5.9 can make around 1500 Lb/Ft of torque when built up. That is an insane amount.
Actually you can have the best of both worlds. After you use CTRL+V to paste the picture, simply use the "Backspace" key on your keyboard to delete the inline picture which CTRL+V places into your post. The picture will remain as a forum attachment under the post.
I recommend some crazy far out offset where the wheels aren't close to the fenders, throw some 45-50's on it.
well, it already has some 44's that's pretty big for a short wheelbase vehicle like this. and yes, the offset will be bigger whenever i can fix the rockwell axles
i decided to go with the T65's engine and the T600 turbo, i'll try to get the 12 speed transmission to work but for now i only have the 5 speed from the hopper. By default the particulate on this engine is set to 0.35, i set it to 1.00 so in theory it should "roll more coal" i still need to fix the weight issue because right now its really front heavy
This is exactly what I wanted, thank you so much. Will it be in the next update? Also, it might be cool to have something like a scaled-down model of the semi-engine. And stacks like a real coal-roller.
