Seeing as I seem to be the only one with such a problem, I decided to create this account and report this bug, in the hope it can be fixed for the next update, or, if it's my end, a solution can be found.
Been having this problem since I updated the game to 0.9 (had the game since 0.6). Did two clean re-installs, cleaned the registry, even installed the game on a different hard drive, to no avail. Did the integrity check, it immediately tells me files are corrupted, and it gets stuck at "Reading hash" (like the "Fatal vehicle exception" error that can be fixed by keeping the steering wheel enabled, this is a different error, though).
When I start up Beam.NG, the window opens, and I see a black screen. The nVidia FPS counter and Shadowplay icons both appear, as well as the Steam reminder that I can open the overlay. After roughly 6 seconds, the game crashes, giving me a 0x00000001 error.
Had a look at the Beam.NG logs to see whether I could glean anything from them, nothing (however if needed I can attach them here).
Started the game in safe mode, same exact problem as above.
Tried to fix it by myself by fiddling with the settings files, believing it to be a graphical thing, nothing.
Then I had a look at the Steam folder for Beam.NG, and I noticed there were two versions, a x64 version and a x86 one. I tried running the x86 version, and lo-and-behold, it worked. Despite having a 64-bit Intel i7, I can't seem to run the game in 64-bit mode.
So the simple question is, why does the game run in 32-bit mode on a 64-bit PC, but not in 64-bit?
I look forward to hearing your answers. :)

Try to perform a clean reinstall if you haven't.
It's slightly different from just a normal reinstall, but the results are different.

    1. Unistall BeamNG from Steam
    2. Delete BeamNG.Drive folder from MyDocuments (Backup your mods if you want, but do not put them back until you are sure the game is working fine)
    3. Delete BeamNG.Drive folder from Steam/Steamapp/common (If there is still a folder)
    4. Reinstall BeamNG

Already did that twice before posting the message. Even used a registry cleaner.

    Those same exact steps?
If so, can you please go to Documents/BeamNG.Drive/cache.0.9.0.0 and ZIP the 'crashReports' folder.
    Then send it here.

    Unfortunately nothing much useful there.
We are soon going to release a hotfix (version 0.9.0.1 in a few hours).

After you update to that version, please do this:
Launcher > Support > Already in contact > Provide Support ID code you get

Updated the game, first thing I did was doing what you said. Support ID's 13834.

Unfortunately, the issue still hasn't been fixed. Same error code as last time, only the x86 version works. Only difference is that the integrity check gives me that message at the end.
I can try doing yet another clean re-install.

The Support thing is not to fix, but to provide me your game logs so I can see better the issue.

    The log still says 0.9.0.0.
Please make sure you have updated to 0.9.0.1 then repeat.

@Nadeox1, don't mean to be pushy or rude, but has the Support ID been acknowledged?
Just want to know where you guys are at. :)

Yes, please give at least 24 hours, we also need to sleep xD
(We probably also have shifted time-zones aswell)

For some reason your logs do not show any information about the crash.

Usually, if the x86 works fine, but the x64 does not, it's caused by some external programs creating issues.
We have a list here: Incompatible_Third_Party_Software

I've checked if you had any of those .dll file, but no results.
It could be a software that is not listed yet, it would be the most logical thing.

    I see.
Well, I guess I'll have to search for this program that's causing my game to crash! :D
Thanks for the feedback, at least I know it's something on my end. :)
If I can find it, I'll post the program causing the crash here.

After much uninstalling of unneeded software, and another clean re-install of the game...
Nothing. No luck. Still won't work. Guess I'll be stuck with the x86 version...
But I just noticed something in that version.
Because it's a 32-bit program on a 64-bit system, it gives me a message in the top-right corner to acknowledge that fact. It takes me to the Performance tab under "Help".
I scroll down to the OS box, and it tells me I'm on Microsoft Windows 8 (type 101). But I'm running on Windows 10.
Is it supposed to say that?

Yeah, it's not much of an issue.
Something with how WIndows communicate its version to the game.

When the game crashes, what kind of window do you see?
    Can you see screenshot it?

    This is what I get:

Or are you referring to right before it crashes?

    Awesome.
    The 'Error Report' window.
Click on the first 'Blue Text' you see (It should say something like 'What it contains').
If you follow what's written, you should be able to find a way to export the crashreport in ZIP format.
If you could send me that ZIP, I would be able to see what's causing the crash hopefully :)
