Intel Core i7-5820K @4.080 MHz (40 x 102) broke the 100K barrier Rest of system: RAM 4x4GB (2133), 2 x GTX 980Ti (1400 MHz core, stock memory), Rampage V Extreme, Lepa G1600, custom liquid CPU loop (3 x 120 rad), Samsung 840 Evo 250 GB. Os is actually W10Pro (updated from 8.1Pro)
Getting some pretty bad results for some reason... CPU load never goes above 70% on average across all cores. Went from 4 to 4.4GHz (10% increase) on the exact same architecture and I only get 3% better results. Might be because my RAM is now at 1200 CL8 instead of 1333MHz CL6.. I should test that out.
Update: Disabled hyperthreading (never need more than 2 cores, don't play games that need 4) in my i36100, huge performance boost. From 36ish mbeams to 41ish. That's the difference between 40fps and 60! Sorry no pic, will fix tomarrow.
New Bananabech spam will arrive, I'll start then BeamNG.drive version 0.9.0 CPU: i5 6600k @ 4.5GHz RAM: 16GB 3100MHz CL15 Looks impresive! Sadly I have this PC for only 2 months so I cannot compare to the previous game versions, but looking at other users posts it's way better score than i7 6700k could get previously, great improvement. Kudos to @estama and whole BeamNG dev team! Now I'd love to see some RYZEN benchmarks
Running 0.9 (of course) I managed to get 213 Mbeams/s CPU: Intel Xeon 2680 V4 @ 2.2GHz RAM: 16GB DDR4 2400Mhz Don't have any previous versions since my CPU upgrade is quite recent however the performance I'm seeing here is amazing.
Thanks for posting the Xeon and Ryzen benchmarks. I was curious about how they would scale. I'm impressed with the Ryzen too. It went a lot better than i've expected.
Intel Core I7-7700K 4.20 GHz Asus Z270E Motherboard 16GB DDR4 3733MHz That Ryzen score though... holy cow.
3.7Ghz gave 160 and 18 cars realtime, my guess based on Diamondback's over 200 with overclocked 6700k was 150, but it seems I got bit more than excepted. That is a lot of cars. Lowest FPS with heaviest mod maps remain same, so physics improvements don't help to single core performance limits.
sorry that its with my second monitor but i dont have anything to cut it with. So to the pc i5-6600k at 3.5GHz and i have to say that thats a really big performance gain since the last time i went from 8 to 14 cars in realtime EDIT: Now it should be better visible
