For those who do not have a gaming wheel or gas and brake pedals there should be a way to adjust how much force you on the gas and brake use using your keyboard (keys) I thinks they should add buttons to adjust the force like percentages for role playing reasons (etc.)

I'm not entirely sure, but I'm pretty sure the cruise control UI app should do something like this for you.

Why not just get a controller. Its better overall in this game anyway so there are many other advantages.

There's this thing. And it's called money. And a controller requires money. And not everyone has enough of that money to pay for a controller.

Nope, if you can afford anything like the sort of computer needed to run BeamNG, hell a computer at all, then you can pick up a $10 controller.

What if they don't want one? You can't force everyone to buy a 10$ controller that probably is very worn down.

A new controller that is "worn down"??? sure :|

Also this guy is asking for "medium speed keyboard" sounds like the sort of person who badly needs a controller...

"$10 controller" Yeah and my $80 controller made me lose several months of savings and that broke within a few months. Scared to see what $10 does. I don't have any money at all, and additionally, I built my PC, but I did not pay for the parts.

Uhuh, well I've been using a $10 controller for 5 years now and its fine... You also way overpaid spending $80 on one.

Mommy and daddy can buy you a controller too in your case, either way my point still stands nobody who drops like $700 on a PC will struggle to find $10 for a controller.

You're a perfect example of this as you got an $80 controller and as you say "i dont have any money"...

This was a long time ago. It was a Thrustmaster wheel, and it was the cheapest wheel with pedals that I could find.

So what is this "$10 controller" you speak of?

Well that expalins alot, you're talking about a wheel and pedal set not a controller. I was talking about somthing like an xbox controller, an $80 wheel is bargin bin.

$10 controllers are all over amazon

Wat. He says he has "no money" and still managed to buy it after saving, makes sense to me.

I can confirm, back in the day when I had a potato as a computer, I bought a second hand Logitech rumblepad 2 or something like that for 5€,never had any problems with it in 4 years. Tbh honest pretty much everything on my computer is second hand.

Back on topic Beamng is recommended with a controller anyway, so it have to be expected that a keyboard isn't the best choice for an extreme car simulation.

Just get a used Logitech/Xbox or ps3 controller on Ebay or Amazon. You may think it's useless, well, it what though when I bought it, but a controller is always useful. Especially with modern game who for the most are ported from consoles.

No shit , would just help alot if he had made that known, its much more commonly refered to as "a wheel". Should have been pretty obvious from the $10 price but you know thats asking alot isnt it :|

5 euros??? How do you get a controller that cheap? Shouldn't a G27 be $50 instead of $700 then?
