Maybe. It would take some force to deform the tube frame. I really just wanted to fix the tires and parts issues...
Thanks for the update. Now i can really do some rock crawling with out the tires breaking from only touching a rock and now i can use the Low gears with out the front breaking. Love this MoonBuggy. Cant wait to see what next you make that can do trailing and rock crawling if you make another one.
Would be nice but the game doesn't like big wheels or soft wheels, together equals wheels bursting with no effort at all.
it is not enough to just remove the pressure in the tires... there is a lot of parameter change to make the softer tires and stable. you can even make indestructible tires if you want. Do not forget to create a "Breakgroup" for the Hub. in this way, after a big impact, the wheels hub will broken. p.s : the tires are difficult to parameterize.
Especially with a light vehicle such as this one, with huge, heavy tires, it's hard to get them soft yet stable.
The ONLY problem with this mod is the gearbox...it doesnt like going from reverse to first gear immediately after you have slowed down enough I mean when I am driving along normally in reverse I step on the gas right and then it stutters and STILL goes backwards I have to come to a complete stop to get it into first gear..that HAS to be fixed...
Hmm, I only seem to have that issue with low gear ratios, aka low range. This is a problem with the game itself, not so much my vehicle. My suggestion is to use a manual with auto clutch, as that's how this vehicle would be in real life anyways. Two speed GM Powerglide auto with a manual valve body.
im new to all of this but to get the tires for that buggy do i put the download into the buggys file or just vehicles in general?
dkutch is it possible to replace all the wheels of this with rotators of your own structure like the firebug except without any lua changes?
So, I found your buggy on a Russian site. (Went snooping around because I was bored) Not a shred of credit given, though I di see your buggy on another site with full credit given. (Removed link 'cause I was hinted to by sixsixsevenseven.)
Dude, we don't share the Russian links on forum, PM them. I did lol at that one though, apparently there is no steering and it has independent suspension...
