Okay, so here's how to make the game less laggy

    1. TURN GRAPHICS DOWN This one really helps, but it looks crappy. Go into options, and find where it says Overall Quality. Set it to 'Lowest'. It really kills lag, but the texture quality is bad

    2. CLEAR OUT USELESS MODS Go through all mods. Delete the ones you don't like or never use, and disable the ones you do not want to use at the time

    3. GET RID OF SHADOWS Go to debug, and check off the box that says ''Disable Shadows''

    4. GET RID OF TIRE TRACKS Go to map editor and go to Decal Editor by clicking on it or pressing F7. On the right, click tireTrackDecal. Scroll down and turn ''size'' to 0. Save and exit editor

    5. CLEAR OUT COMPUTER If none of these work, it means your computer is very slow. Go through all files on computer and delete the ones you don't want. When you are done, go to Recycle Bin and hit empty recycle bin

2 and 5 do not make a difference. More mods installed, of you aren't using them aren't loaded in and so won't do anything. 5, full hard drives do not slow down computers contrary to what most noobs think. 2 and 5 are meaningless, particularly 5

Files being present on your hard drive only impact one thing, how big your pagefile can be, and if you're using the pagefile while playing beamng that signifies you don't have enough ram to play beamng and is a separate issue. Otherwise, levels of disk fragmentation impact read and write times for hard drives but not SSDs, this doesn't impact beamng except in the time it takes to load a vehicle or map, you don't read or write to the hard drive while playing the game. So no, 5 can't make a difference.

Mods being there, they aren't loaded until you spawn them and they're unloaded when you despawn them, mod parts and configs are mostly a ram thing and impact minimally (if they're an issue you already have too little ram to be playing beamng) and so they're effectively just dead files on your hard drive which as established in 5, makes no difference.

    2 and 5 don't make a difference.
    1 is obvious for everyone.
    3 is obvious.
4, ok minor aid that some might not know about.

I'll add a 6th one though that for people CPU limited helps even more than turning graphics down.
    Debug, disable collisions.
But again this is another obvious enough one

Do as above plus you can try and download more ram, I've now got 2832,000GB because I download 32GB every day casually, my computer is like a rocket now.

I don't fall for scams. You even had a comma in the wrong place with your number. Obviously you spammed your keyboard

Okay. That makes sense why mods take forever to load up

Buddy, not to ruin all your fun, but you can't download more RAM. Not possible. Many people fall for this, but you shouldn't.

SSD's that are full (to like 95%) can be sluggish, and at very near full (98%+) they are hard drive level.

I think there is place for good laughs and I think someone's question in questions & support area is not the correct place for laughs, there are people with different skill levels, while surely those jokes are funny, I don't think that it is appropriate to joke around here.

Maybe I'm just a boring person, but I have worked in computer repair shops repairing damage such jokes have caused, costs usually have been more than what game price tag is, so it might be good practice not to do such jokes on support area.
