Update Speculation thread

I just want updated sounds. Makes most cars undriveable for the very fact they don't sound right, especially diesel's.

 

I kinda like from that fact update is going to take bit longer, there are then time to get few more surprises into update

 

Longer update time means they're working on improving the core functionalities and features that needed work instead of dropping minor bugfix + small feature updates. This is a good thing.

 

Except we gave to wait a millennium.

 

No you don't. You wait a month or two. This kind of attitude is why I don't visit this forum anymore.

Appreciate the heads-up. It's easier for people to wait when they have a general idea how long they will be waiting.

 

Yes, 'atm' is being used correctly.

But seriously, I really appreciate DEVs transparency, now it's "easier" to wait, as we know it may take a bit longer than usually. So we will not feel insane that it isn't out "yet" any time soon, also less spam by random peoples like this; "when will update be out", "update will be next Friday", "update may come next Tuesday, you remember when XXX update was released in Tuesday??, there's still a chance" ... Actually peoples should be happy - why? Usually long waiting = huge update, that add a lot of content and features etc. Just stay tuned, every single update was worth the wait, it's certain that upcoming will be worth wait too

So I just kind of accidentally found this.
Has there been any news on this? I understand the game features a walk around mode but this can only be done with a command.
This will be quite the thing if it's still planned to be implemented. (posted in update speculation thread because I assumed this would have to do with an update, at some point )

 

Like brick rigs then? People are immovable when out of vehicles.

 

As an example yeah, although I don't see the need for a character shadow, and it probably won't be added, but a crouch position would be good too.
