Outdated WentWard Bus Type-D (Rear Engine) 7

Great work ! One question is the windows pillars weak enough so if a car with ramp hit that area it can pass thru the buss windows area ? This one will be great but dont know if its possible

 

I actually like it with no thrusters, seems way faster!

I can't find the stig in parts list?

 

i think i found a bug, front upper running lights are not on their places on display

 

Do you think a little bit of a facelift is possible?




Oh oh oh oh, and why is there no gear shifter if it's a 12 speed manual? I thought it was a little weird driving like that.

 

Why is there no UV? I know you included one earlier but that was ages ago and includes text.
I know about the skinning system it just needs a UV.

 

There should be a .png named flatbus_skin_UV you can use to create skins

 

Its possible but the way it would need to be setup to allow for ripping of jbeams like that would take too much CPU power and it would barely run, currently the jbeam structures dont rip like that.

The bus should be able to switch between manual and automatic, I currently drive it as automatic, I will be adding a gear shifter in the next release

 

There is no UV file. I have searched multiple times aswell.

Hi, I downloaded the bus, it's in the game, everything went well. But when I opened it up, the engine was dead. Im not sure if it's because there is a missing transmission or what. But the RPM's are at 0 everytime I load the bus. The only way to get it moving is by pushing it or rolling it down a hill. Also, the gearbox is always in "N". If anyone can please help, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

 

Have you tried shifting the gears? If it still dosent work try clearing cache or redownload.

 

Check your game settings it may be set to manual and engine off, those are settings that can be saved for the game, there should be a way to turn the engine on

 

the steering wheel is offset and so is the seat.

 

not sure if i'm the only one with this issue, but I can't get any of the buses to go in reverse, they just stutter and go forwards a bit

Hi , I would just like to say that the gearbox is messed up in the 'Fun to drive' engine because it cannot reverse and its hard to stop
And last think , may be wrong but it looks like only one wheel is accualy braking when you use the foot brake.
But still , very nice bus

 

If that's how easily a bus with the classic narrow windows splits apart, imagine how easy it'd be for one of those new 'Safe-T' Liner ones with the huge panes! Makes you wonder how safe they really are. More on topic, This mod is coming along nice and can help with some new or improved textures if they're needed.

Found it while making a skin similar to a NJ Transit bus, but here it is you want it
