Any updates on the new maps?

I understand it takes a lot of time to make a new map but 2 maps [Italy and west coast USA] haven't had anything said about them until the 7.0 update or so, and with the ETK map I just want to know whats you are focusing on, I mean the west coast map had a drivable race track and I'm not sure why we haven't seen anything about it since July 2016.
