Fastest Speed You Reached In Vanilla Game. (No Mods)

so, i just reached 298mph in a straight line with the sbr4, so far my highest speed ever.

 

370(ish) in the barstow dragster

 

how did you achieve this? on flat grid map i get up in the 230mphs but thats it...

i mean... i even changed the interior color to red...

 

oh, uh.. i did 370 KPH not MPH.

 

I reached around 280mph with an ETK 800.

 

541 km/h (336 mp/h), stripped Burnside Special with drag parts.

...HOW?! as far as I'm aware the you can't even gear it to be able to reach those speeds.

One could easily go higher, but 650 is a rather even number, so I stopped at that:

 

How did you manage to get the skinny drag wheel rims not to blow up and glitch everywhere? That always happens to me when I tried that trick at about 550 km/h.

 

It just works out of the box for me; mods disabled. At slightly above 650 it can lose a rim or crash, however.

Well, I got up to 546 KPH with just burnside chassis ... then engine blows up

 

How did you achieve 600+ kmh? The hightest I achieved was 580. The problam was neither the engine nor the tires but the gear ratios. I had my final gear at 0.5 ratio (which is the lowest possible), there would still be more power in the supercharger but the gear just doesnt allow any more than 580-590 kmh..

 

Adjust the final drive as well.

 

The limit is 0.5. I cannot go below this number, it drives 580kmh at this point..

Adjust the ratio of the differential. Only works for the race LSD.

Just make sure you use the right LSD, or you may find yourself on an entirely different trip than intended. ;P

 

yeah stripping down cars and tweaking the tuning and parts help, so far i suppose the guy who went 650kp/h won.
