I love Holden especially they made a high performance ute and this brand will be missed forever in our heart. #R.I.P.Holden
If the front end looks anything like the new Colorado I will be disappointed. Looks ugly as hell imo. I never thought the newer generations of Colorado's looked that great in the front end, otherwise probably the best dual cab ute out there besides the D-Max and Hilux.
I wouldn't want to risk damaging the car if I didn't manage to avoid something And yes, in many cases I do walk into things that are in my way without realizing. What do you even mean "learn to drive like a functioning driver"? I know how to, I'd just be worried about hitting things. And I don't have my license yet so I doubt my parents would let me practice driving in a real car
If you're that concerned about crashing into something, don't even bother driving, let alone get a driver's license. You're way too fucking nervous/overcautious about driving. You're just an absolute menace to the driving society with the way you're too fucking worried about driving.
Eh, there's bit more there than that. If you've learned the stuff it seems simple, but for a complete newbie who has no idea how to drive safely in the traffic like this guy definitely needs some lessons. You claim that you know how to drive like a functioning driver, yet earlier you said you can't use the brakes properly on the RZR. Secondly, why would you drive at all if you're so afraid of hitting something after failing to avoid, every driver is facing that danger but still most drivers drive normally. You're just way overcautious toi drive a car in traffic. Also why are you afraid of hitting curbs in a parking lot with an RZR, that thing has big enough tires and high suspension already from factory to not to worry about curbs. I highly doubt you will pass the final test at this state without going to driving school lessons.
I'll still need to drive to work when I get a job, and how is everyone else not so nervous when they think about all the risks? Well for one there are no parking lots close enough for to drive to in it without the risk of being fined for a handful of things and even if there was a parking lot nearby hitting a curb at speed still would be bad for the vehicle and could cause more of a roll over risk.
Because the risk isn't that big and you can't do anything about it really since there's always a chance that someone else can make a mistake and crash into you even if you were stationary in traffic lights. That's why no one thinkins about the risk really and often buy insurances instead.
I'll say this, before I took Driver's Ed, I was scared to drive. I was scared that I'd get distracted too easily, and cause an accident. But after driving with an instructor, I know that I won't get distracted, and the fear has gone away. We're not afraid because we know that we are going to be reasonably safe, and we are reasonably confident in our ability to avoid accidents.
It will most likely be the same ranger in Europe. For the North American Markets... Ford is planning to make it look a little different from the euro one (lights, grille etc.) and different engine options to comply with standards here in the U.S.
Ford's doing that "Global model" plan where all markets have the same model, with some differences, why the US finally gets the Transit van although in medium/heavy duty models, as well as the Focus and Fusion/Mondeo. And I guess we're seeing that as well in GM and Chrysler with some European models making their way over.
Ford dumping the Econoline van and replacing it with the Transit has to be one of the dumbest things I've seen them do in a long while. A white E series van is what comes to mind when you say the word "Van", and had been in production since 61 or 62, and basically unchanged (Save for the engines) since '75. I have a friend who owns a HVAC company, and he used to have a fleet of 16 Ford E-350 Vans, and he's replaced two of them with the new Transit vans, both of them have been in and out of the shop with all kinds of problems, electical problems, doors not opening, lights not working, and all that is beside the fact that he can't hardly tow or haul anything with them, between the super light duty suspension and the 3.whatever V6, they don't hold a candle to true one ton vans with V10's they replaced. I also know guy in town who owns an appliance store bought one, had the exact same issues as my friend, and after owning it for three weeks, he sold it back to the dealer and bought a Chevy van. Not to mention they are ugly as sin.
I completely agree. The only "real" cargo van still on offer is the Chevy Express. Ford has the terribly unreliable Transit and Ram has the just completely hopeless ProMaster FWD uglier than the Transit needs destroyed... thing. The shop I work for had a '98 E-150. I've talked about this van before. It had Ford's 2-valve 5.4L Modular V8 (not the awful in every way 3-valve) mated to some variant of Ford's AOD 4-speed auto transmission. That van had the shit beat out of it by it's original owner, we beat the shit out of it, and is now owned by an ex-employee who beats the shit out of it, and it's very quickly approaching 400,000 miles on the original engine and trans. I'd absolutely love to see one of these Transits do that. That van never broke down (at least, when we owned it), it was all oil-changes and tires. Our current fleet now are two Mercedes Sprinter (Dodge and Freightliner branded) 1-ton vans and an Isuzu NPR box van... That has mysteriously disappeared. That Isuzu is the biggest hunk of crap I've ever seen, it's left our installers stranded 3 times. The Sprinters are constantly in and out of the shop, the Freightliner needs to go back again because of a rough running condition. That ol' E-150 was owned at the same time as the NPR and the Sprinters. It was our go-to for small deliveries, errands, and was used as a substitute overloaded to the gills when one of the Sprinters went in for repair, and it still kept going. The "Global Car" is a nuisance.
Kia needs to make a Stinger ute, the Stinger is going to destroy the 2018 "Commodore" in sales. A ute would double the sales. Quick edit:
The Super Safari is back I guess. comes with rear camera, saddle interior, Bluetooth, AUX, a winch, this weird two tone with the wing that doesn't fit the look, tire pressure, sensor and maybe a lot more. I guess they're taking the Defender route, same body few changes each year. Here's my attempt to recreate it for a better idea of how it might look like (minus the wing it looks hideous anyway).
