Program will not start

The program simply will not start, ever...

I've been re-dowloading, re-installing and uninstalling for weeks now. Nothing seems to help.
After installation i even need to manually find the exe because installation never links te right .exe. Always links to the exe with Sandbox in it's name.
Used different accounts on my system, used admin to install and execute, firewall completely off and on. Doesn't help a thing.
Still a grey screen for a few seconds and opening of crashRPT.

Is there any solution to this?

Upon further investigation I have discovered a few things, that of which is mainly the apparent lack of ability to locate certain files required for gameplay.

The game seems to struggle to locate directories and certain files, for example

I personally don't really understand what is going on, but I believe someone hopefully does.

I updated to Win 8.1, And now I can't get past the loading screen before it crashes

I'm not trying to hijack, I have the same problem as you but windows 8.1 started it for me. I get a gray screen for a few seconds then it crashes.

 

Any ideas from community?

 

Nothing? Really? Not a single reply from admins or controllers? C'mon guys, help start me playing .Drive! My machine has never seen .Drive ever!
