I can tell BeamNG is building cars based around models from the 70's-90's. I just had a few more "unique" ideas. For one, how about something older, like a 40's or 50's inspired coupe? What about a 60's style wagon (kinda like the Burnside Wagon in RoR but older) or truck? The car I REALLY want to see is an exotic from the 70's or 80's. It could be based around some of the coolest and most unique exotics of the time period, like the Ferrari 308, Delorean, Lamborghini Espada, Lotus Esprit S1, etc. It would be fun to add a faster car to the mix. And if BeamNG is REALLY up for a challenge how about a motorcycle? That would be fun to cruise around on a bike. I understand that that would be VERY difficult though. These are only suggestions of course. I know that they are working really hard and don't want to pressure them.
There have been a couple threads already like this. When the game comes out I'm sure you'll be able to make one yourself.
I'm sure they'll include some old motors before release. Plus, you can always count on gabester for implementing more oldies to "romp around in".
You know what? I was also thinking of a motorcycle... it would really test cryengine... A car based on the DeTomaso Pantera/ AMX3 would be pretty cool too. Those additions mentioned would be great...
Modern cars also would be great, because only old? I think we should leave the requests of the cars and that's something rather more for the future, in the future there will be modern and ancient of all types but we have to wait and let to 20 after the same things that are not currently possible.
It wouldn't really test the engine, but it would test the physics game BeamNG for the same reason on why one would be very good in RoR. It would showcase a very good n/b, and would truly be one of the first deforming motorbikes in a game. Imagine a bike wheel with a dent in it, as well as a tank coming off of the bike in an accident. I think that it would definitely be very interesting (as well as fun) to crash.
If they should make a 70's unusual sports car, they should make something like these: Saab Sonett: It's a pretty rare sportscar that never really was popular, maybe because of it's looks, but it is a different design that would be great in this game Lamborghini Miura: Also looks a bit different and would be great in this game These are only suggestions!
