Well, I can't really argue with that. I'm still sorry about that. I can't really guaranty a time-frame at this point but that's what I'm shooting for. So I'll say that I'm shooting for a couple of months, which seems reasonable to me granted I'm diligent enough (I'm trying), but I can't guarantee a specific or semi-specific time-frame.
leave him take his time as long as the car will be working good i have no props waiting i will just wait a year or two till its done
That's the problem. Whoever has been waiting for me to complete this mod has been waiting for quite a long time. So I understand that it's disappointing or frustrating. I gave a release date last year and didn't live up to it. It adds to the problem that I didn't complete it yet either. I did run into trouble with my computer where I couldn't use it for a couple of months. However, I got my computer running again and have had enough time to complete the mod for some time now. So I understand where clayton8or is coming from with regards to his comment.
Don't worry about it. We can all be mature enough to respect that you are busy in real life and that things happen. In the end, it's your mod, so you get to decide when you want to work on it. No matter what you decide, we can all respect your decisions.
i know what happend to your computer i read the whole threat from the first page. but its not really disappointing the way i see it you have your reasons when i read that your computer stoped working i though you gave up the mod but then i saw that it was live again so that gave me a lot of hope! and all the photos and updates you made for the mode made me see how good you are and i though making a car could take just a week P.S Sorry again for my bad language
Jesus what is your problem? I was not talking about him. I was just giving an example and trying to help with him so that impatient people wouldnt bug him all the time for it since he gave a release date that wasnt correct. Next time think about the context before you post your overly aggressive bs.
he have his own reasons to be late. i am sure if his computer didn't stop working he would have realase it in time P.S as always sorry for my bad english not my language
As regards my computer, I have good news! So after quite some time of studying, researching, and trial-and-error, I've finally fixed the issue that I've been having with my computer! I had to get some help with the issue on other sites but in the end the problem is gone now; even if only temporary (hopefully permanently). I had to learn how the read the schematics of my motherboard, then I studied the schematics to arrive to a solution. Lucky me that it was actually a relatively easy fix to perform. It was still tricky, but after all of the effort I've put into it so far, plus the fact that I destroyed the connection to a track that went through the PCB, I thought it would be a much more difficult repair to perform. I found that there was a point that I could connect to on the surface of the board that connects to all of the necessary components for the part that I, failingly, attempted to repair/replace. I just had to use a wire and connect the MOSFET to that part of the motherboard. Everything works like normal now. I just don't know how long this solution will last. I was just making an update on this issue that was present for such a long time; for anyone interested. Here is a picture of what the area looks like now that I've patched it: I know it looks bad, because it is bad, but it was the best I could do to correct my past mistakes when trying to fix my computer. I'm glad I was able to get it working fully at all. Bottom line, I definitely learned a lesson from this. Hopefully someone else can too. Make sure you know what you're doing before you do it with sensitive and valuable electronics.
Hi everyone one. I'm just making a little post about something that's been on my mind a little. I'll just start bluntly. I haven't gotten much further with the progress on the car and I think it's only fair that I communicate that for those waiting. I have been, and currently still am, dealing with bad person habits and a severe lack of motivation to work on the car. I've opened the project time and again but I haven't been able to find what I need within myself to work on it as much as I can and want to. I've seriously wanted the car to be completed or at least much further than what it is now by this time in the year. I've been holding back on posting updates on the progress that I've made because I've wanted to show it when it's further completed. I'm embarrassed by how little I've completed relative to the time that's gone by. I think I'm going to come away from that and just start posting updates again. I really enjoy making them, and when I do it motivates me to work on the car more. I don't have too much more to say but I'll end it by thanking those who have been so patient with me pertaining to the car; it isn't going unappreciated. As for those who have lost their patience with me, I'm still sorry. I didn't stick to my word like I've wanted too. I haven't and still won't give up on the car and I can't say when I'll be done, but I'm working on getting myself more together.
just got BeamNG for Christmas, with as much time that's been put into this car, it's guaranteed to be better than the Rigs of Rods M3 GTR mod...you drop the clutch with it and the front bumper tears itself off, and it has shitty brakes, this car will definitely crash better and all around be one of the best cars I'll test for BeamNG,I'm good with patience, take your time, and good luck
Ive been following this since day 1, and its totally understandable how you arent motivated and all that. Honestly, i have a lot of issues like that myself, and its really hard, but instead of working on some car you should really work on yourself first since your well being is priority in any case. I though this mod was dead, and i am so happy that it isnt, i hope you get better and find the time to finish this awesome mod. if you want to id be happy to help in some places.
Yeah, it's difficult for sure. However, I do find that the more that I do things that are productive the better I manage other priorities as well. Trust me, I'm keeping in mind that working on this mod has its place but I don't want to fall off completely. I can probably look into some ways I can improve myself overall as well. Good luck with dealing with or continuing to deal with the issues you have yourself. I really appreciate what you've said. I almost forgot, I'll contact you if I come up with something that you can help with. What area of car creation do you like working with? (Side note: I was thinking that some or most very early followers would have left by now. It's really cool that you're still here. I've noticed a few others as well.)
