issues between the update and the truck. the center diff solved the open diffs. hood is not in this update. the skins need some work i think.
Latest public is a stop-gap solution. The truck is now too light and floppy to work without a center diff, but that's all we can do. Handling is currently compromised, but at least the truck can load correctly. Hoods are not included. Skins slipped off my radar while I was trying to get this mess sorted.
Same. I still have a copy of 0.7.0.2 installed, just in case. For how intriguing the new powertrain system may sound, it's very difficult to work with. The largely incomplete documentation certainly doesn't help.
well i have the steam version so i'm forced to update. almost every mod with an engine is now outdated so don't feel like this is the only mod that broke. we had little documentation when it came out in February right?
i have an archive of the mod going back for months... if you need anything really old, i guess count on me for backups.
This is funnier, still. --- Post updated --- For the records, this is what you get when you try to implement the new drivetrain code by trial-and-error. Thanks for nothing, Official BeamNG Wiki™...
after the drivetrain code is done, may we please get some transport tires? i got some ideas i want to try out
No. Because I made them before the drivetrain code. They couldn't work with the new wheel system because we had no spindles, but since I had to implement them anyway for the drivetrain code to work, they can now go in game with very little effort.
Dang, the most recent update made it so I cant turn off the engine anymore I used that to park the monster trucks...
One thing I want changed is the chassis colour, just seems waaaaaayyy to bright to be a black. Its grey right now when it should be black (just saying ) Edit: happy holidays! and imma change it myself first edit again
Darkened the texture myself. Unconvinced by the final effect. Also 4 links and axles should be changed accordingly, and darker hues hide details way too much for my tastes. Yeah, I know, hotfix broke the truck again. At this point, I suggest you wait a little bit for the drivetrain code to be completed. We're getting there. --- Post updated --- By the way... Has anyone noticed that the new collision system rendered all the breakable parts almost unbreakable? Yo can throw the truck off the Cliff and have it intact with just a couple popped tires at the bottom...
